A Stay to Forget.Posted Aug 21, 2013
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: A tired building,as were staff..
Location: good for airport..
Staff at desk could not have been more disinterested in our arrival. The so called dining room a disgrace--we instantly decided not to eat there.A walk to alternate. Again only staff member was disinterested.Gloomy & no ambience, one lone diner in a boothe,a group sitting around on the floor, may have been staff but not a good look. Had booked well in advance ended up in a room o'looking a clothes line & reeking of disenfacant. The web site does it a favour, knew immediately on arrival this was a tired building.

avoid staying herePosted Jun 24, 2013
The most concerning thing about this motel is that there was no deadbolt or chain on the door, only the door knob lock which could easily have been picked. In addition, the restaurant closed earlier than what was advertised, and although I did get there in time to order room service, the menu consisted of only about a half dozen items. Finally, they advertised a free airport shuttle, but it didn't run on the weekend so I had to take a taxi.

Nice airport hotelPosted Mar 28, 2013
Pros: Very friendly receptionist; room service from attached restaurant, shuttle to the airport from 6 am.
Cons: Looked a little tired from the outside, but fine once inside
Location: On the way to the airport
Looked a little tired whan my airport shuttle pulled in, but I was surprised how nice it was once inside. Will stay there again when needed, as it has a restaurant so you do;t have to go out if you don't want to.

devil in the details...Posted Oct 2, 2012
Pros: good shower...good beds, ac worked, peaceful and clean.
Cons: no shuttle on Sundays, no ice, no "food close by" except vending machine
The room was nice enough but not nearly as close to the airport as the web site indicated...ALSO...The main reason I chose this hotel was for the shuttle to the airport. When I arrived I was informed they did not provide a shuttle on Sundays... the day I needed it...no apology and no offer the rectify the problem,...just an "oh well" the web site did not mention the no Sunday shuttle fact, and even the Expedia staff I talked to prior to booking indicated the shuttle was available... The taxi cost me an additional 35 US dollars... not overly pleased about that. ....Oh..the. restaurant closes early and the hotel does not provide any ice...

Not so close to Airport, v.good value b'fastPosted Sep 16, 2012 on Hotels.com
"Airport" in the name is misleading - the hotel is a $30 cab-ride away from the airport. Apart from that, it is a pleasant hotel and we had no complaints. We arrived at 11.30 pm and reception was closed, but there was a phone and a keypad-operated strongbox with the room key inside, so it was easy to get in. Best feature from our experience was the "mini-breakfast" with juice, toast, a single egg, single strip of bacon, and single sausage & piece of tomato, for a very reasonable price. Far better than a huge breakfast for a huge sum. Well cooked, too. We had just finished a fortnight's travel with very expensive and indifferent-quality breakfasts in other hotels, so appreciated it. The hotel is reasonably close to Doomben railway station, with direct line to the city or a couple of stops and change to get to the airport. It is walking distance without bags or a $10 cab-ride. In sum, it is a nice clean little hotel with no adverse aspects except that it is really too far from the airport to consider it an "airport hotel" if looking for a stopover spot.

Overnight stayPosted Sep 10, 2012
Pros: Room was very smart and tidy
Cons: Outside appearance
Location: Easy walk to get some dinner etc.
At first appearance the outside condittion of the building is not that great. Once inside though the appearance is very different. Clean, professional looking, lovely staff etc. The room was clean and tidy but the bed wasn't that comfortable but still ok and the air con appeared dated and wasn't that quiet when trying to sleep. If you are looking for an overnight stay then it would fine. Taxi to the airport $27.00 aus.

Quality Inn Airport HeritagePosted Sep 3, 2012
Pros: On-site parking handy to rooms
Cons: Loose tap in the bathroom - unforgivable.
Location: Handy for air travellers
Loose tap in the bathroom was disappointing as it obviously should be noticed and reported by the cleaners. A convenient hotel for the airport and on-site parking was another problem that was eradicated. Certainly not 'flash' but comfortable. Several restaurants close by.
