“Excellent Value”

The Rendezvous was terrific. We had the one bedroom suite and it was quite comfortable. Very quiet, too. A nice touch was that the provided a fresh package of high quality coffee each morning. Location was perfect for our needs, directly across from Central Station.

“Very Awesome Hotel”

Everything was clean and tidy. Bed was extremely comfortable and the housekeeping staff were awesome (I drink a lot of green tea, and they noticed and gave me extra sachets). Location was great, easy walking distance to Queen Street mall... staff were friendly. Only one complaint: I think there's a bar or pub across the street that played really loud music one night. I could hear the bass in my room... it wasn't too bad though as I was really tired and fell asleep easily. But if you're noise sensitive, request a room in the middle of the hotel or higher up (I was on the first floor).

“Great Stay”

Excellent hotel was surprised we even had a kitchen and washer/dryer Very convenient to rail station, but would not recommend take the train to/from the airport as extemely expensive

“A pleasant surprise”

This hotel is an excellent choice for everything you are looking for when you travel. The rooms are on small side (I had the studio) but were more than adequate. Clean, close to downtown and they are super friendly and helpful.They recommended places to see, tours, etc and were right on!

Area recommendations

The shopping mall, which is close by, is a must just to see the crowds and find some great bargains.

Getting around

Take the city/river tour. You can get on & off along the way if you want to spend time at a certain stop.

“Great location”

“Recommended for Brisbane”

This hotel is nice - much nicer than I expected. I stayed in a 2 bedroom studio with washer/drier. I highly recommend this - you can wash/dry your dirty clothes. This was about halfway through my two week trip so the washer worked out great. You have to pay for internet - but you also have to pay at every other hotel that's not cheap (free internet at the cheaper ones like Best Western, La Quinta, etc) There is an internet Cafe Across the street - if you have a room facing the road, you may be able to pick up a signal - it's cheaper than the hotel. The train station across Ann St also FREE internet (I'm pretty sure of this). The mall is a short 5-10 minute walk and a few blocks away - many souvenir shops and places to eat. If you are traveling from the US, get a Virgin Mobile SIM card for your unlocked GSM phone. 10 cents a minute and no connection fee to the US.

Area recommendations

This area - it's near the mall and near the train station. Things are close to this hotel. You can get to the train station from the hotel, you just have to go down to the basement (where there are more shops) and walk under the road.

Getting there

From the Airport, take the train to Central Station (the map says Brisbane Central Station). It's right across the street and easy to find. I was unsure about doing this, but I found it just fine.

“Look its this simple, a good deal you won't be disappointed....”

This was a well run hotel...rooms quality...monor problem sorted quickly...thats the test isn't it...I enjoyed the stay and think you will ...so there you go ...good value, good service, good location ...sorted..................

Area recommendations

the south bank and hey why not take a run up the coasty ..sunshine coast and Maryborough....but don't tell everyone.
