Stressed but beautiful appartments
The check in was very difficult. There was no reception open. I had to go another hotel 70 Metres up the road the central appartments. Which I found stressful. Once into our appartment. It was fantastic. Great location

Overall a decent place. I added 2 extra nights half-way through my trip b/c I enjoyed the city so much. The hotel / apartment had a lot of amenities - having a washer/dryer and full kitchen in my room was great. But they were confusing to use, and reception was only open limited hours, so if questions came up at night - you were out of luck till morning. Beware - the washing machine takes hours to run a cycle, and you can't open it once it starts. I wasted half a night waiting to put my clothes in the dryer. The bed was comfy, and the living room was quite spacious. The bedroom design was a bit flawed - for example, there's a wide full-length mirror, but it faces into the bed, so there's not enough room to stand in front of it. You also couldn't really access half the closet because the sliding doors intersected with the position of the bedside table. If anything, I'd say less room needed in the "living room" and spread out the "bedroom" area so there is room to breathe. The wifi was strong - BUT... you have to re-enter a unique ID code and password every time you open your computer. The card says it's supposed to stay for 72 hours, but I had to enter it again *every* time I closed my computer and opened it again. Reception said people complain about that a lot. Annoying! Staff was friendly during the limited hours they were there. The attached restaurant was great!

The apartment is well located, though it is one of those buildings built for investment not for living. The property smalls of smoke, no doubt from those permanent residents who do smoke. Views are into neighbouring apartments. the apartment could do with a good clean, bathroom and carpets very grimey

WiFi Con
Expedia listing claims that they offer free WiFi. They should clarify this to say they give you a free voucher for 2 GB of WiFi and then try to charge you anywhere between $6 for 100 MB/30 minutes up to $50 for 7 days usage. I can buy cell phone data for cheaper than this. For this reason I did not extend my stay for the remaining 3 weeks of my stay in Brisbane.

There is no car park for visitors to park in for check in. Check in was actually at a different hotel. They tried to check me into that different hotel. Check in took forever. Car park was ridiculously tight. Sewer vents on roof can be easily smelt from pool. Actual room was ok.

Lovely location. Well presented modern apartment. Air conditioning did not work in our room, which given the modernity of the room was disappointing. However, that was the only letdown.

Great views from the roof.
Excellent apartment clean and comfortable. Good location for city and southbank. Very friendly helpful staff. Great bistro I think owned by complex. Had a good time here.Very reasonable price.

The only problem was there was no where to park when we went to check in and the Wi-Fi network and password was had to get on to but other than that it was great

I really enjoyed my stay. Amenedies great, room perfect, close to convention centre where I worked. My only complaint was that there was no reception and I had to walk to yhe Capitol hotel to check in etc. A bit of a pain when I had a heavy suitcase

Good location and good room. Check in a little difficult as reception was not open at hotel (at 2pm on a Saturday)and we had to go down the road to anther premises to get keys. With no where to park while we walked down to get keys proved a bit of a hassle.

Disappointing Stay - Room 708
Firstly, located the complex but no idea where to park to check-in. Called and advised that we needed to check in at the Capitol apartments down the road - would have been nice to know before we drove around the block 3 times! Eventually got down to our car park to find it was tiny! Had to reverse in and push in the side mirrors so they wouldn't hit the concrete wall. We have a small SUV so anything larger than this will NOT fit. Now to the apartment - we had a balcony with a view of the wall of the next door complex - not pleasant. One shower head didn't work in the bathroom, other was fine. Wine glasses were filthy. Lounge was hard and very uncomfortable. Small 2 seater and 2 single chairs. TV was that old it had no USB ports, the DVD player was also that old - NO USB ports Now for the kicker - Foxtel box in the room with remote, etc. However, NO access to any Foxtel channels! Considering we booked this apartment back in November last year, we should have at least been allocated a decent room with a view - price wasn't any cheaper and we had a wall to look at! Our overall experience of this accommodation was very underwhelming and extremely disappointing. We always enjoy Southbank and will be back next year for the NRL but will never step foot in this complex again.

Loved the location. Decent size two bed two bath unit with everything we needed for our nine night stay. Very clean. Only one service during our stay although online said it'd be every second day. BBQ was unavailable. No remote for bedroom tv. No staff on site. Have to walk down to sister hotel The Capitol to check in/out or talk to staff. Loads of places to eat close by. Coles and iGA within walking distance. Close to public transport. Easy quick walk to Southbank and city centre. Loved to location. Would stay again.

Easy Stay
It was great. We had a conference at the Convention Centre so it was really close and easy. It would have been nice to have a dust pan and broom and a clothes rack. Plus the capsule coffee was made by my nanny who was looking after my little one and she said it was horrible and I think we had to pay for these. Oh and the plastic protection on the single beds were not the greatest. I was very thankful that the porta cot was set up for me as I arrived at 1am. Also loved that there was a fan in the 2nd bedroom. Overall a great stay and I would stay again for sure. Great little cafe downstairs as well :-)

Nice modern apartments in great location
We stayed in 2 bedroom apartment. It was very modern and clean with some views from lounge and main bathroom. There were 2 bathrooms and a 3rd toilet off laundry. We requested a bathtub and staff were very helpful in fulfilling our request. 2 TVs - one with Foxtel. Free Wifi was a bonus. It was in a great location - very close to Brisbane Convention Centre, Museum, Art Galleries, etc and Southbank. There was a bit of noise from roadworks, construction outside BUT if you kept the door shut (with air conditioning on) it was not a problem.

Disappointing begining
We arrived at the hotel after driving past the car park due to the lack of signage. Upon entering what we assumed was to be the car park. We parked in one of the commercial visitor parks as once again there was no signage nor communication in our booking info. We then exited the car park on foot to head to the residential office for check in. Upon entering the building the reception was boarded up and permanently closed. There was a print out notice stating that the reception had been relocated to "The Capitol" hotel around the corner. So once we had located "the Capitol" we walked down and checked in there. The staff were fine and said we should have been notified about the reception change. However we had no notification through our booking on lastminute. Anyhow, we eventually got back to the car to park in the correct bay and head to our room. By this stage my wife had a migraine and just wanted to sleep. We get to our room which is spacious and well furnished. The room was stuffy so we turned the air con on in the lounge and bedroom. I opened the balcony door to get some air flow, however there was a excessive noise and closed it. Unfortuantely both air cons kept shutting down after 2-5 minutes. So my wife had a shower to cool down before getting in bed to rest. I asked the staff at the Capitol if they could rectify the issue. As there was only 1 person on staff there was a delay between a resolve. In the end they couldn't fix the air con and booked us in at the capitol

Absolutely disgusted with our experience. We booked our room a few weeks in advance with the option to pay on arrival. After a long drice to Brisbane and a full days work on arrival were told no sorry you have no booking. (The last thing you want to hear at 5pm after a hard day.) Story was they tried to take payment three days earlier but couldnt. 1. Payment was meant to be on arrival. 2. Had we known payment was due we would of transferred earlier. 3. We never had any communication at all to let us know the situation and to give us the option to pay. 4. Correspondence via email 3 days earlier to confirm an extra carpark for us but then just cancelled our accomodation with no notification. Defiantly do not reccomend this place to stay and it has put me off using Wotif to book unfortunately.

Our apartment looked out at the brick wall of the adjacent building and there was limited natural light Aforesaid building went some way (but unfortunately not all the way) towards deflecting the screeching sound of the trains as the navigated the bend of the railway line that abutted.

No reception clerk. Reception desk closed 24/7 even though sign states reception hours 9:00am to 5:00pm. I could only watch ABC on the television. There was a Foxtel box but could not use it. Parking was secure but extremely narrow. On passenger side I had to park 3cm from wall. Driver's side just enough room. Would never stay there again.

There is only 2 negative things that I have to say about this hotel. 1 is that the main bedroom window needs to have better coverage, the early morning sun came in and straight onto the bed made it hard to have a lay in. 2 never saw anyone at the reception even though it was supposed to be manned from 9am. Otherwise good location and very well equipped.

As we arrived after hours we only dealt with staff on the phone however they were lovely. The room was brilliant and very clean. The pool was the only disappointing part as the glass that surrounded the pool was very dirty, this wasn't very appealing. Other than that overall it was a great place to stay we will stay again.

Apartment close to city
Booked for a regular monthly business trip to Brisbane, normally stay at Kangaroo point but needed a change of scenery. West End has plenty of eateries. Room was well appointed, clean and a good view over the city. Easy to find and parking was no worries.

Great views. Poor maintenance.
No WiFi for 3 days. We arrived on a Saturday and there was no staff working on weekends. Unable to make external phonecalls. The air conditioning wasn't working and we had to wait until Monday when there was staff working so we could get it fixed. The staff were very helpful and organized it to be fixed the same day. We were unable to open the bifold doors which we also had to wait until Monday to have fixed.
