Decent hotel. Average rooms. Great restaurantPosted Oct 5, 2014
Good hotel. Big rooms, self contained. Room facilities are built to a price and bed comfort average but rooms very clean and staff very attentive. On site restaurant and bar is a hidden gem with amazing food and great staff.

Walking distance to City & SouthbankPosted Oct 4, 2014
Short but sweet. Just an overnighter for business. Clean, quiet, comfortable and free parking. Just a tad hard to find.

So much better than a hotel; but needs better WIFIPosted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: Clean, spacious, great location (for the city).
Cons: Wifi stability needs improving; a more powerful air conditioner required (always a hot room) and the view was lousy.
Location: West End, South Bank
For once, using the title Apartments in a property name rang true - I did get an apartment....which was a fantastic surprise. Very spacious, all the mod-cons, clean and newly built. Sadly it also came with a few niggles, but if you're willing to get past them, I think the Capitol shows great value for money. If you're travelling on leisure I think you would love it's space, but as a business traveller the wifi service was a pain. Yes it was FREE but the passwords provided kept expiring/not working which meant schlepping down to reception everyday (sometimes twice) to get new passwords. Clearly an ongoing problem for them. When it worked though it was actually a decent speed - better than most places I've been claiming free wifi. The location was within easy walk of the city but my apartment pretty much sat on the train line outside of the window, and whilst the room was well sound-proofed, it was still a touch noisy. The view also was pretty rubbish, but you can't have everything. It's an easy walk also to West End, which is a lovely little villagey scene for general shops. I would definitely stay there again but probably modify my expectations! If you want space, I would recommend.

Great apartments close to GOMA & MuseumPosted Sep 17, 2014
Location: Right near GOMA, Museum, Convention Centre - and the river. Easy to walk to South Bank and restaurants - great spot.
The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The apartment was clean, modern and beautifully appointed. Good sized kitchens and bedrooms. We will be back.

Affordable Hotel at SouthbankPosted Sep 11, 2014
A spacious apartment with quality fittings and an excellent kitchen facility. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was only a block away from the exhibition centre where I need to be. I was impressed and will stay there next time I am in Brisbane.
