Nice hotel centrally located with a great view of South Bank and QPAC

“Awesome hotel for the price!”

Only problem was the parking. Street parking was expensive but it was only 20 to park the car at the hotel per day. The hotel was just two blocks from a really nice indoor/outdoor mall.

“Quiet, clean room.”

Stayed at the Marque a few nights in June 2009. Very clean and quiet room considering the busy area. Within walking distance to many shops and excellent places to eat. Also, within walking distance to Mirimar river boat which takes you to the Lone Pine Koala Santuary.

The room was clean, beautiful, great location,and at a great price. The staff were most helpful and pleasant. The view from the room over looking the river was the best. the only thing I could hope would be fixed was the ability to print from the loby provided computers. I would definitly go back.

“great stay”

I stayed at the hotel for a conference in Brisbane (the hotel was not on the conference list). However it was a short walk away from the Conference Centre so extremely convenient. My room (13th floor) was also very quiet, so I had a great night's sleep. The hotel staff seemed very accommodating. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on this.

“Clean, comfortable, helpful, and well located”

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here very much, despite her having to go to hospital one day. On the day, hotel staff were very helpful, calling an ambulance and then calling me and informing me about the situation. The staff were also very helpful giving directions and looking up information about bus and ferry travel. The room was comfortable and roomy and generally quiet - we had a nice view over the river to Southbank. Location is just two blocks from the Queen St Mall, 2-3 blocks from the botanic gardens, 2-3 blocks from the river and the North Quay RiverCat stop, and 2-5 blocks from the restaurants of the Eagle St Pier and Edward St areas - very easy to get around.

Great location, near transit center. Great staff, willing to make that extra step. . Luxurious room.

bed was comfortable and clean. room spacey but not overdone. clean and quiet. staff friendly and helpful. close walking distance to good coffee, casino and reasonably close to train station . recommend taxi if have lots of luggage. was very unsure about booking the room after reading some of the other reviews but found the room totally adequate. and was glad that I had booked.
