DisappointingPosted Jul 9, 2015
Pros: The views from the bar.
Cons: Reception staff. Cleanliness in the rooms. Air conditioning. Value for money!
The lady on reception wasn't welcoming. We had been emailed 2 days before our stay to say that there was a wedding taking place and there may be some noise - well, that was an understatement. Our room was very close to the disco which went on until after 1pm. The room was hot and stuffy, only one window opened, the other had been painted shut. The standard of cleanliness was not good either. There were sheets of plasterboard resting up against the corridor outside our room for the two nights we were there! We ate in the bar the first night and the food was good, the staff were helpful. The hotel is tired and need TLC.

Nice looking from the outsidePosted Jul 2, 2015
Easy check in and check out but very old dated room with obvious mould and damp. Tiny shower which took lots of messing around to get it to the right temperature. Didnt use any other facilities as had a very early check out.

Nice hotel, good for solo business travellersPosted Jun 29, 2015
Would recommend as a good choice for the solo female business traveller. Good location and good parking. Staff very accommodating. Décor a little tired but clean and hotel has a lot of character.

Nice hotel-shame about the bedPosted Apr 5, 2015
Pros: Staff, food, location, views, building it has a lot going for it
Cons: The bed, realistic breakfast price
Location: close to cheddar gorge, Wookey hole, the Clark`s village, Bristol, Weston
Lovely staff, nice hotel, good food, good sized room, bed was awful needs throwing away-a shame to spoil a lovely hotel and location, when the most important element of your stay is a comfortable bed to sleep in- breakfast was superb but £12 for a buffet is very steep-we will go back if the bed is better we go again and again if poor again we would not return again

Had a King Sea View which is what I requested andPosted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: the fact it had a lot of orriginal features which we like and very light airy and comfortable and Breakfast excellant shame only one night
Cons: The noise from when there is a party even though we were on top floor could still here the music other than that very pleased.
Location: Love the location and closeness of all facillities.
I took my Husband away as it was a late treat for our Anniversary and as we love sea vews and obviously a comfortable room and bed we wer very happy and thinking of coming again in Feb.for two nights stay this time for my Birthday we enjoyed the walks and closeness of shops etc.

Beautiful sea view and convenient for familyPosted Oct 2, 2014
Pros: Sea view; traditional feel; convenience
Cons: Mushrooms at breakfast, and a bit longer on the wi-fi before you need to log on again! 10 minutes offline: 2 minutes faffing on logging on again.
Location: Clevedon is a lovely old-fashioned seaside resort; the pier is justifiably famous
A Victorian era seaside hotel with a traditional feel; some refurbishment thankfully happening.

Lovely view over Bristol ChannelPosted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Friendly welcome, comfy room, decent breakfast and good value
Cons: New carpet or flooring in some areas; also, wi-fi log-in a bit fiddly; and sugar-free muesli would be nice
Location: Clevedon is a lovely little coastal town with a famous Victorian pier
We are now likely to stay here regularly as we visit family who don't have room for us to stay. Happy to keep coming back due to friendly welcome, comfy room, decent breakfast and good value (despite the fact the hotel is not exactly new).
