“Can't waite go back”

Hotel location and area is great. Pleople's hotel are very frindly and helple. Pool area need to be more maintenance and some insurution at locker room and shower area would help. Coffe , Tea need to chek to see keeps as hot Resurant fod is great and price is very reasnable. we did enjoying and have time to relax . We wil be back and continue to stay Clarion Hotel. Thank you

“Great place to stay in Bristol”

This hotel was just what you'd expect. The front desk staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful, and there was a tray of excellent cookies on the checkin counter. They supplied free coffee and tea in the lobby. The bed was comfy and everything worked in the room. I would stay here again and it's very close to Lake Compounce.

“Lake Compounce”

I took my 9 year old son to Lake Compounce Amusement Park in Bristol Conn. for a three day get away. We stayed at the Clarion Hotel which was minutes from the park. The hotel has an in-door, heated pool which was perfect for my son (in case of rain). We arrived early but had no problem obtaining our room. Check in was a breeze and the room was as described. The hotel was clean and the staff courteous. One big plus for me was that the rooms were well insulated. I could not hear the other guests. Much more so then some of the higher end hotels. I would recommend the Bristol Conn Clarion Hotel to friends and family.

“A Solid Hotel, Right Next to ESPN Headquarters”

When a freak October snowstorm knocked out power in Connecticut I quickly booked here, as it's close to work. By the time I checked in the entire state had gone crazy, with people clamoring to rent hotel rooms because they had no heat or hot water. The Clarion staff was under the gun and obviously stressed out but never let it affect how they treated the customers. Additionally, even though they had to turn away people who were just showing up trying to get a room, they were making the extra effort and tracking down rooms anywhere in the state they could find them for people. This hotel is immediately adjacent to ESPN headquarters and always has rather interesting media and sports characters filtering through it. It's a solid, clean, 3 star hotel. Lastly, when my power was restored and I no longer needed the room I had already paid for I let a co-worker and her daughter take it over. The next day the staff extended her time there for two days, even though she had no reservations, simply because she was already staying there, which was very nice of them. Good hotel, good people.

“Moldy shower curtains”

Mold on shower curtain. I wish for the money that you have to pay for a room that they would get rid of the mold in the bathrooms. People with breathing problems should not have to pay to make breathing more difficult.

“All in all... comfortable, clean, but nothing to rave about”

Not quite up to par. The front entrance was blocked as it was being worked on. Fair enough, but there wasn't any signage of where you were supposed enter the building. Walked half way around the building to get inside. Room had 1 of 2 bed lamps out of order, TV is the old analog (fine in it's day, but not what the competion offers), beds are firm. Room key was disabled after 2nd night, which is minor, but annoying. All in all... comfortable, clean, but nothing to rave about.
