“Very easy access and very friendly staff!”

The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful, sent me to a resturant within walking distance. Food was GREAT. The hotel was just newly rentavated and is like new. I would recommend this hotel, give a 10 out of 10.

“Very Nice Hotel for the Price”

We found this hotel to be just what we needed. Conveniently located to everything to do in Abingdon. The continental breakfast bar included more selections than most, and the attendant was very helpful. All staff are friendly, and the hotel is well-maintained.

“Our three day stay in wonderful Abingdon, VA”

The rugs needed to be a little cleaner. The location of the motel exit made it difficult sometimes getting out and into the parking lot. The vending machine near my room did not have any diet drinks. Breakfast hours should be extended on the weekends.

“Ok for an overniter”

Clean and staff are friendly. Ok for an overnighter, but for extended stays, it needs better quality of linen and towels. Other than that, satisfied.

There was nothing fancy, but the place was clean and well kept. The staff was helpful and very courteous. The room was very well taken care of. The morning coffee in the lobby left alot to be desired and the assortment of cereals and muffins was very weak, but it was no less than advertised and it was better than nothing, although we opted for the Cracker Barrel and others for those needs. The only real complaint about the room was the pillows. Five little square feather pillows for a king size bed. They need some new ones, at least in our room. The weather was nice enough that we wanted to open the window to get fresh air in instead of that stale air smell coming out of the room units, but the windows were very heavy and had to be proped open with our own homemade methods. Overall, you get what you pay for. It good enough for what we needed it for and was very bearable. Plenty of room with a small table and chair as well as a desk and chair. The fridge and the microwave was a handy plus that we took advantage of. I would not rule this place out in the future.

“Considerate Desk Clerk”

While on travel throughout the SW portion of VA I stayed in several hotels & just stayed at The Comfort Inn Wytheville the previous 2 nights lugging all of my work items up & down steps for 2 days, the first thing the clerk here in Abingdon asked was if I knew I was scheduled to be on their 2nd floor & would I like to change to the 1st floor. I was elated since these hotels do not have elevators! The previous hotel clerk lied and told me their hotel was filled on the first floor & I would have to remain on the 2nd floor. I can say that having knee & back issues this clerk in Abingdon get's 5 stars! ***** The room was neat & clean and the bed was comfortable! I would recommend this hotel.
