A lovely stayPosted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: The staff and my room were both great.
Cons: The cleanliness of the chairs in the foyer. Need to make sure phones in all rooms are working before guests arrive.
Location: Not sure. I had a friend drive me around so it was fine for me.
I was very impressed with the foyer, gives the hotel a really warm and classy feeling. Some of the chairs could do with a clean but overall it had a great appearance. One thing I highly rate this hotel for is the staff. They are super friendly, including the serving staff at the restaurant bar. One negative was that the phone in my room did not work all weekend and even though someone had apparently checked and fixed it whilst I was out, it still did not work on my return. Not knowing it hadn't actually been fixed I had ordered food downstairs. After I had gone to my room, they had called, but when they couldn't get through to me they just brought the tray upstairs. The attitude of staff was great and I couldn't fault them. The phone not working was a little inconvenient when I wanted to order room service and then realised I couldn't unless I went downstairs which defeats the point of room service...but I suppose it saved me a few pounds because I then decided I couldn't be bothered with getting changed and walking downstairs again. There was also a lovely leisure centre with an inviting pool but I wasn't able to use it unfortunately this time around. It was free to use though along with sauna and gym but I didn't have chance. Main thing was, I really liked my room. It had a lovely, cosy and elegant feel to it. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

Excellent beds.Posted Mar 17, 2015
The beds were incredibly comfortable but the shower was appalling, just a dribble and there was no heating in the bathroom so it was freezing. The staff couldn't have been nicer though.

Pros: Comfortable Bed but huge! Food was excellent.
Cons: Stop smokers standing immediately outside the entrance. I detest having to walk through a polluting cloud.
Location: Great access to M5 & City. Plenty to do and see. The new Shopping Mall in city centre, well worth a visit, also M Shed & SS Gt Britain.
Excellent location for quick access to M5 and City. Sat Navs take you the wrong way from M5 southbound exit, be sure to turn 1st left off slip road, to Bradley Stoke, Hotel is on your left at 1st roundabout. Hotel is good value but externally needs some TLC. Staff are excellent. Facilities and dining are very good.

1 minute from M5 Motorway - FantasticPosted Jan 11, 2015
Pros: Staff and facilities.
Far enough to not hear any traffic, and close enough to be on the motorway within a minute. Fantastic staff. Great breakfast, lots to choose from and very good quality. Joined as a member on the day for HHonors, and got the £5 parking for free. Large coffee table area. Very clean and tidy.

Excellent Christmas Eve stayPosted Dec 27, 2014
Pros: The friendly staff at reception
Cons: Include the car parking charge in the room rate
Location: Bristol city centre is very near, just a short drive away.
I stayed Christmas Eve with my parents. The staff were very friendly and cheerful. I have stayed here before and will stay again. Hotel is very quiet and the rooms are well appointed.

Nice stay, great foodPosted Dec 24, 2014
Pros: Food, facilities, staff, room
Cons: Slightly worn parts to bathroom could be improved (tiling etc...) but not major.
Location: Didn't leave hotel
Stayed for one night with a 4 year old and a 1 year old. Great family room with enought space. The free kids packs were a nice touch and kept them busy for a while. Great bar food, really enjoyed. Went swimming twice, brilliant. Great breakfast. Much nicer than the Newbury Hilton. Would definitely stay again.
