Building is older and it shows on the outside. Room was in good condition. There are many empty buildings and restaurants around hotel. Required a $200 deposit which is excessive.

We found the bathroom small. The bathroom door should have open out instead of in. Also, most times you had to flush the toilet twice.

Stopped in here for a quick nights sleep while traveling. We were only here for about 7 hours and only to sleep so cannot speak for most of the hotel but the room was nice, bed was comfy. Only dislike is the highway being so close you hear the semi trucks all night.

Our stay was great. Very very friendly staff from check in to housekeeping went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. And they are very honest. I realize about 25 min after our check out that my IPad was left in the room.?I called back the housekeeper went to room found the iPad and took it to the front desk for me to pick up!

Leaking ceiling/bathroom
We were woke up at midnight to a sound of dripping water. Got up and there was a big leak coming from upstairs to our bathroom ceiling that was getting worse and worse. Called receptionist they sent someone and only gave us more towels and expected us to go back to sleep. I had to call back and request a change of room. Understand these things happen but they didn't change our room until we requested it. Bad in my book. We were on the 6th floor.

The place to stay when you go to Bristol
We stayed at this hotel from Friday to Monday. We were in town for the NASCAR Race. I wish i could have brought the bed home with me. I slept very well. The room was very clean and nice. The hotel staff were wonderful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lovely, clean hotel
First off, ignore GPS which has you stopping at the Courtyard by Marriott. The Delta by Marriott is the next hotel on the left. It’s a beautiful hotel and very clean. Breakfast is not free but tasty. We were on the 9th floor, and the room was very nice with a gorgeous view of the Smoky Mountains. The only downside is the road noise. The front desk was very polite and helpful.

As other reviewers have said, the traffic from the highway is very loud. They would benefit replacing the glass with a more sound proof one. The property is aware, they leave a preprinted note in the room that states you can ask for earplugs from the front desk! My son and husband used them, but since they are not high quality, they became very uncomfortable during the night. Other than that, the property and hotel is lovely. Be aware that breakfast is not included, but a Starbucks is nearby.

Stay was okay. Only issue I have is that I told the hotel staff at check-in and check-out that I reserved and pre-paid for my room via Hotels.com. They claimed to only put a $50 hold for incidentals on my card. Instead they charged my card for a full night stay. Now that I’m trying to contact someone at the hotel to fix the issue, no one answers the phone.

Marriott has done a lovely job of refurbishing the public areas of the hotel since taking it over. It's still a bit noisy as it's right beside I81
