Very clean and comfortable, with a particularly spacious shower which has great pressure and temperature. Some elements of the hotel were dated but had an overall contemporary feel and the keycard system made you feel very safe. The staff were all very welcoming and accommodating, would stay again.

Area around and also 3rd floor of hotel under construction/ renovation. No luggage racks in rooms. Bathroom was a step up which was a little scary in the middle of the night. Staff were wonderful and very helpful.

A few of the light bulbs didnt work which was a shame as couldnt create a cosy atmosphere to relax after a long stressful day. Also didnt have a working extractor fan in the bathroom. The room was what you would expect for the price and was comfortable after a long day. The shower and provided shampoos were great. Did get charged twice but the morning receptionist helped me get a refund on the double charge.

Just OK.
We had an overnight stay for Christmas shopping. Whilst our stay was fine, we did have an issue with the bathroom, we did report it immediately, but the receptionist was from another Ibis hotel, and didnt know who too contact.She offered to move us to another room, but as we were only there for one night, and so declined. The decor was rather faded, and we had to re-position the TV, as it was wonky!

The hotel is nice. Bedrooms had what was needed but aren't well lit. The light above the full length mirror had a faulty bulb so kept going out. We did report this to reception on our first morning but not sure if anyone came to look at it as it kept going out for the duration of our stay. We didn't open our blind to use natural light as there was building work opposite and there were workmen directly outside our 4th floor window. Building work started from around 8am until 5 - 6pm so it was noisy outside. We didnt plan on laying in late or spending much time at the hotel so wasn't a problem for us. The bathroom was very compact and not sound proof at all with a very squeaky door so you'd want to know the person you were sharing with quite well! The bed was comfy and there were enough pillows. The room did get a bit stuffy and was noisy if window was open due to builders. The hotel itself was quiet at nighttime. We walked everywhere we wanted to go but took 20 - 25 minutes for most places. Not a problem for us. We used the bar a few times which was relaxed and the staff were friendly. We had breakfast on the last morning. There was a good choice. The staff were welcoming and friendly. My husband did see one member of staff wipe the floor and worktop with the same cloth though! Overall a good stay for what we needed.

This hotel was below average. The room had mould on the windows and parts of the furniture were in need of repair. The "bathroom" was a very small shower room (no bath in sight!) and the shower head wouldn't stay up unless tipped right back. The room was also very hot, which would normally be good in November, except it was way too hot and the temperature control unit clearly didn't do anything. The curtains were a bit bizarre, and got stuck initially but eventually we got them shut. The staff weren't very welcoming, and we felt like a nuisance when asking for assistance with our keycard. Also, the hotel don't provide any period products which I know isn't necessarily standard practice in hotels, however, it really should be. Soap, shampoo and toilet paper were all provided, but the hotel didn't even have a spare sanitary towel at the front desk. The bed is also a bit uncomfortable (in my opinion, it's quite firm), and there's only one spare pillow. However, the wifi is good, the location is really good (right near the train station, a Sainsburys and some food places) although a bit of a walk to the city centre, and tea and coffee, hair dryer and hangers were provided.

Great customer service.
It was a great stay and the staff very friendly, especially the Latvian receptionist who couldn't do enough for us.The only disappointment was that there was no chef on duty when we arrived on the first night.Location is great as its next to Railway Station.

It was clean and modern and close to the train station. Was having a nice sleep until an alarm went off just after 4am. Called reception and they said they were waiting on a technician to switch alarm off. Stopped 15 minutes later only to go off again at 5:15am. Gave up then. Top choice for value in Bristol
Ibis hotels are good budget hotels. A lot better than the main opposition in my opinion. This hotel is in an excellent developing location very close to Temple Meads Station, a short walk from the harbour or the city centre or there are nearby bus connections to every part of the city. There are superb pubs within 3 minutes walk of the hotel. Its a modern hotel with all the amenities you could want in terms of bar, restaurant, luggage storage facilities, though it has to be said that bar and restaurant prices are too high. Breakfast at £14 isn't competitive with other budget hotels. Fortunately, there's a Wetherspoons nearby! The rooms are a good size. The beds are extremely comfortable, outside noise is completely eliminated. There is a good, powerful shower and tea/coffee facilities. More sockets are needed though, and these should have USB ports too. The only bin is in the bathroom. One is needed near the kettle in the room too. That said, the comfort and the friendly welcoming staff make this a top choice for anyone seeking well priced accommodation in Bristol. We will be back in the city again and will definitely stay here in this Ibis.

The only problem I had was the email sent to me from Ibis hotel bristol recommended parking sites nearby. The first option my GPS led me to an abandoned derelict carpark after a long tiring journey in bad traffic, it was then very difficult to navigate to the 2nd parking option if you dont know driving in bristol city centre very well, which I dont. well I do now after my crash course, they should update their parking information: Broad Plain pay-and-display car park is no longer a car park, it is a derelict lot with metal fencing around it.

Our room fulfilled all the basic needs although the curtain fell down because it was only attached by velcro tape. The staff were very friendly and helpful which was a nice surprise after the slightly gloomy impression outside with one of the lit up IBIS letters not working. The hotel is very near Temple Mead Station in a very quiet position.

Good location, very close to Bristol temple meads station. Some nice cafes and streets around the area. Check in was easy and staff were friendly. The room was large and bed was comfortable.

Great for a Summer/Autumn stay
Lots of storage, no radiator so no heating - early Autumn at the moment. Very noisy with drilling etc outside not a problem for me.

Perfect location from Bristol Temple Meads. Car park at the back of the station so a 5 minute walk to the hotel.

The tiny room felt like Student accommodation. The twin beds were small and the bathroom was nothing more than a little pod. No carpet and furniture was very strangely arranged. Definitely not worth the £100 a night I paid. Only a 5 out of 10 for me. ☹️
