Sketchy part of town

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Stayed here because it was close to the I-81 but it's a rather poor location. It shares a parking area with a really sketchy motel from which rather sketchy people could be seen and heard. The staff seem to mean well but the motel is pretty rundown.

Looks abandoned.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything I felt is stated above. I will add the the carpet was nasty and not clean. I kept my shoes on the entire time I walked on the carpet.
Location: Went to bed. Depressed.
This place was a joke. It was practically empty; we thought it was closed. One entire side of the hotel had rooms that looked like they were being refurbished. Although the room was somewhat clean, the room was sub-standard in that everything was VERY OLD and a bit dingy. Looked like the refurbishment was a patch job and not a true remodel. They only charged you part of the fee at check-in and then bill you for the full amount AFTER you leave -- weird. There was NO BREAKFAST as advertised. And the food area was closed off. Didn't live up to it's even limited advertised amenities. There are other hotels for the price they charge that are much nicer that this place. Will NEVER stay at a Knights Inn again.

worst stay ever

Posted May 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
When we arrived at the hotel. The person at Tue desk could not find the reservation from hotels.com. once found we were advised that he would have to see if any rooms were avail. That was one car on the lot. Booked king room... Was given two doubles. No breakfast as promised.. Most lights did not work in room. And bathroom was dirty to point of refusal to take shower. Will never stay at knights inn again.

Horrible Service

Posted Apr 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
When we arrived the clerk was unable to help us check-in. We had to wait for management close to 45 minutes while they came from 30 miles away because the clerk did not know how to process online reservations and/or prepare room keys.

The room was freezing...no heat and manager stated we only head 3 smoking and 3 non-smoking rooms until rented. The one bed was broken, stains on walls and ceiling. Breakfast not opened on time and not even complete with what they said they offered. Orange juice was frozen and that was blamed on the temperature outside not on how the refrigerator temp was set. Manager stated because a woman opened in the morning that was the reason breakfast was late for set up because as a woman it is not safe to open before 7am only a man can open before that time. Our refrigerator froze all our items due to the setting of the refrigerator. Will NEVER stay there again!!! Will NEVER recommend place!!!

can't complain

Paid a reasonable rate...and room was fine. Wasn't expecting the Ritz Carlton. Came to town for a quick, overnight trip. Room clean, area safe, and coffee maker provided. But sharp left turn to get in hotel MEANS sharp left turn!april

Fine for the price

Posted Nov 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was looking for a cheap but safe place to stay and this was just fine. It's an older hotel, doesn't look like much, and not many guests (which was a little creepy -- I think I was the only one there one night!) but the room was clean, the staff was friendly and I had no problems. Would not recommend for someone looking for a "nicer" hotel but if price is important, this works well.

Cheap and decent

Posted Nov 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Decent room for $45 dollars. Only problems bathroom lights didn't always come on, you would have to flip the switch several times, no laundry room and the ice machine was broken. Plus the candy machines looked extremely old. Breakfast was ok, had a waffle machine and cereal and coffee and snack cakes. The best is the location, very convenient in Bristol. I wasn't spending money on a room I was just sleeping in so this did ok.
