One night stay roomPosted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: It's good location , welcoming staff.
Location: Good restaurants, very near King Street with live music from various pubs including old Duke, st. Nicholas market nearby. Easy reach from shops .
A very good centrally located hotel, welcoming, clean very friendly staff, had a room on front couldn't really get view of river because of trees but very nice room. We parked in car park next door and walked everywhere we needed easil. Woul recommend and would choose again.

lovely hotelPosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: The price and location 10 minutes walk from cabot circus,
Cons: Rooms with a joining door need the door to be soundproof.
Location: The apple boat which sells nothing but ciders between 20 - 30 different varieties
The hotel was excellent value for money, the staff were very helpful and polite, the room and breakfast were excellent ours was included in the room price, would not of paid £16.50 each for breakfast. Our room no.411 was clean and cool as the air con was exceptional, tile vision in bathroom so you could lie in the bath and watch television, check out was midday and breakfast was served until midday aswell. We were visiting Bristol for the harbour festival.

Nice hotel near centre BUTPosted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: clean, quite, nice location
Cons: number of staff in reception at busy times!
Location: right in the centre of Bristol lots of things like open air bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but quiet at night for sleeping
Nice hotel near city centre but confusing/difficult to find due to their being two Mercure hotels in the centre of Bristol, also of far more importance only one member of staff on duty behind reception, it may be OK during the day when not much is happening but it is totally unacceptable in the morning when people want to check out. I had to walk out and simply leave my key card as I had a train to catch the the one receptionist was on a long ongoing conversation with someone trying to cancel a booking! One of the two lifts was also not working, inconvenient but nothing the hotel staff could do much about but I'm afraid that having back up in the morning, even temporary, is something that the hotel could do something about.

Nice hotel in Central BristolPosted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Location, clean, nice room, helpful staff.
Location: There are endless things to do in Bristol. We wandered around the M shed Museum, free, and went on a boat trip, had a cup of tea etc
We stayed one night. Excellent room and service etc. I thought it was going to be noisy, as it was a Saturday night, but I closed the window and it was quiet. Very good all round. We had the breakfast, which was reasonable value, so I would say it was jolly good.

Central hotel by the riverPosted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff and proximity to the center of Bristol.
Cons: Rooms are a little dated.
Location: The river, shopping and tourist atttractions.
The staff were very friendly and efficient. I had an evening meal there but the food was average and wouldn't encourage me to eat there again. There is an NCP car park behind the hotel which eats your cash so pay be card.

Clean city hotel in great locationPosted Jun 16, 2014
Room had very comfy bed, quiet air con, TV in the bathroom, fridge. Excellent location for exploring central Bristol. Forget Travel Lodge, Holiday Inn, Premier Inn etc the Mercure is far nicer.

Exec hotel in docks areaPosted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: The room. I didn't use anything else.
Cons: Breakfast and parking are expensive; weekend rates that include these in a reasonable total should be considered.
Location: A bit difficult to find amongst all the no-entries, one ways and roadworks, and hidden behind a car park.
I had a great time in Bristol, but the hotel was not really part of that, other than a convenient, clean and comfortable place to lay my head and leave my car. If that is what constitutes a good hotel, then that is what this is.

Nice hotel, great locationPosted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Location, friendly staff, room comfort
I didn't spend much time in the room as Bristol is such a beautiful city. The hotel is positioned in a great location, right on the water with easy walking to various neighborhoods, restaurants, sites. The room itself was not extremely special, but quite large and comfortable.
