Smart interior close to town

Pros: We had a privilege room and it was huge and the facilities in it were first class
Cons: The lifts felt a bit old and temprimental. The car parking facilities also need to be increased.
Location: Excellent location for shopping, socialising or sight seeing.
Don't be fooled by dated exterior, there has obviously been some money spent on modernising the inside of this hotel. The reception a bar area are smart and spacious. We only stayed one night and were meeting friends in town. The hotel is perfectly located to walk in to the centre.

Confortable mais impersonnel.

Location: Hôtel non loin du centre historique de Bristol.
Nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour sa proximité avec le lieu où nous devions nous rendre. Nous ne nous attendions pas à autre chose que ce le Mercure est : confortable mais très impersonnel. Hôtel propre, ce qui n'est pas assuré dans tous les hôtels en Angleterre. Pour le reste, rien de spécial à en dire, ni en bien ni en mal.

Lovely hotel, loved it!

Had a lovely time, really enjoyed the swimming pool, but was disappointed there was no steam room , jacuzzi or sauna though. Lovely all the same.

ottimo hotel a due passi dal centro

ottimo hotel a due passi dal centro e dalla stazione ferroviaria, personale che parla in lingua italiana (Damiano) molto cordiale e disponibile. camera molto confortevole e silenziosa, pulizia accurata. non abbiamo usufruito del servizio ristorante quindi non posso dare una opinione in merito.

Arrived late and this was no problem, reception staff very nice. Room lovely & clean and really good size for family. Didn't request lower ground room but pleasantly surprised to have been allocated one as always helps when you have little ones. Totally recommend hotel - but watch out for extras, had to pay for car park

el hotel está muy bien, aunque no es céntrico

Pros: la tranquilidad que hay en ese barrio de Saint Mary, está relativamente céntrico a 5 minutos andando de la Plaza de Neptuno, y la limpieza también.
Cons: Mejora de funcionamiento de accesos con tarjetas de chip. Control exhaustivo del uso de toallas (renovar o no renovar). La wifi caduca a las 24h.
Location: la tranquilidad que hay en ese barrio de Saint Mary, está relativamente céntrico a 5 minutos andando de la Plaza de Neptuno. Pasa el bus A1 enfrente.
El hotel está a unos 5 minutos caminando desde la Plaza de Neptuno, atravesando Queen Square, la verdad que por partes se agradece porque no escuchas movimiento nocturno de coches, ni gente gritando ni nada. La limpieza genial, la verdad aunque me han pasado algunas cosillas que no me han gustado nada en cuanto a funcionamiento y las dejo aqui reflejadas para su mejora. 1) a las 48 horas, te bloquean las tarjetas de acceso y es necesario renovarlas (cargarlas) en recepción. Se supone que con esto vamos con todo pagado pero parece ser una norma de seguridad hacer esto, cosa que no me parece bien, y ellos se escudan en que las habremos puesto al lado de un movil .. una si pero las 2??? y la 2) el segundo dia nos encontramos por la mañana que faltaba una toalla, y eso que una de ellas la dejé colgada para que no la lavaran. Creo que esos detalles hay que cuidarlos porque sales de la ducha y secarte con la del lavabo pues tampoco me gustó mucho. Lo demás genial, hay una chica que se llama Carolina super simpática y sin embargo Sophie una jovencita me atendió super borde con lo de las tarjetas. Como nota le doy un 6, pero para ser un 4**** me parece que esos detalles los debieron de cuidar más.

Pros: Everything, deco, friendliness , bar service was excellent
Cons: Beds
Location: Didn't go out of hotel was there for deal or no deal
Very friendly helpfully staff, our lights blew within 10 mins of us arriving at the hotel, the lady on reception was very helpful gave us 1 complimentary drink each at the bar while she fixed the problem, Bed was very hard and uncomfortable, I didn't sleep very good at all, but hotel was lovely, didn't like paying extra £12.00 for overnight parking either, Bur would recommend, and hopefully if we could find a deal we would return

OK but not great.

Pros: The room was comfortable and well kept.
Cons: Prices for breakfast are an absolute rip off and how £16.50 can be justified is beyond me.
Location: Location was good
Chose the hotel for its location, which was in essence perfect for where we needed to be; however the hotel itself was rather disappointing. The price of breakfast was extortionate at £16.50 EACH so we decided on the Lloyds Bar around the corner and got two breakfasts and drinks for £10. It advertises itself as a Spa Hotel, but the pool was small and no other facilities than a gym and a few rooms for 'treatments'. The staff were ok but not particularly helpful. Overall a disappointing experience at the hotel and should we stay in Bristol again we won't be choosing this hotel.
