“We will use this hotel again - comfortable, well placed and pleasant”

Bar food served until 10.45pm - useful for us as late arrivals, and there was a decent choice. Staff friendly, bed v comfortable and room fine. Cooked breakfast is pricy, but the bar does an excellent value and plentiful continental breakfast. My only gripe was the wait to check out when I just needed my car park ticket validating (car park is barrier controlled). We would use this hotel again.

This hotel is highly recommended by my husband and I and we had no complaints at all with it. It was on a main road but certainly the traffic did not annoy us in any way. Altough the hotel was situated in what seemed to be more a business area it was a terrific location. It was only a five minute walk from the train station and ten to fifteen minute walk into the centre of Bristol depending what direction one took. It was ideally situated for a short walk to the waterside where there were a number of resturants for evening meals. We certainly would recommend it to everyone and have done already to friends.

“Great Location”

Booked a family room at the hotel for a couple of nights for a wedding at Bristol Register office. Very convenient for this and many parts of the city, comfortable and a good price. Kids had free breakfast with a paying adult and the food was excellent. Would definitely book again and would highly recommend it. Staff efficient and friendly too.

The Hotel was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean, and the Hotel was central and easy to find. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 teenage children and we were all well catered for. We would definetly stay here again.

“Cool, convenient and occasionally good value”

I stay in Bristol a lot and the Novotel is my current favourite - partly because my office is based in the next door building. Novotel has gone for a chilled, minimalist vibe, which works for me. Being able to plug in my MP3 player to the TV was a nice touch. Food/bar there if you need it, but nearby pubs and restaurants cater for most needs. Full room rates can be a little high for my budget, but whenever advance booking weekday deals are on offer, I'd advise snapping them up.
