Good Economy stay. Nice bar and helpful staff.Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: Location. Economy.
Cons: The access road could be improved.
Location: There is a river and fishing if you have a valid licence. Clevedon itself is a pretty coastal town and good for a short break.
Chalet style accommodation. You drive and can park next to your door. Has a little fridge as well as kettle and tea making kit. The bed was comfortable and the shower very good. There is a bar and restaurant on site. Just out of town location which is convenient to travellers on M5 and Wet Country. I plan to book it again on future trips.

Cons: The toilet seat was a bit wobbly.
Location: Lakeside location good, roads and paths need attention.

Unexpected qualityPosted Dec 7, 2014
Pros: It's unpretentious provision of all the necessary ingredients for a good night's rest.
Cons: The internal roads within the holiday park certainly could be improved.
Location: Close M5 J19, but no noise in lodge, Bristol 20 mins, Clevedon, Portishead, Leigh Woods, Clifton inc suspension bridge, NT properties.
I was dubious about making this booking, especially for two nights, but the availability and price were too good to miss. I arrived in the dark and found the reception where I was welcomed and checked in without delay. The Somerset lodge was warm and had everything I needed - table, chairs, twin beds, bathroom with bath and shower over, plenty of space for me and clothes and a fridge to boot. The only thing present I didn't need was the telly! Breakfast was served in the restaurant both mornings by a very helpful staff and the evening meal menu had sufficient vegetarian dishes to provide a realistic choice.

Reasonable and comfortable.Posted Dec 2, 2014
Friendly, amenable, good food, warm room. Could do with the pot holes filling on the road and another sign showing the caravan numbers. Delicious breakfast though.

very quiet peaceful stay. comfortable except that during the hot weather we could not get the temperature down as there was only one large window and a very small one.
