DisappointedPosted Feb 10, 2014
Pros: Close proximity to destination.
Cons: Change our room b/c of thermostat problem and swim pass at check in, better front desk customer service.
Front desk did not offer us YMCA pool passes. We booked this hotel for its indoor pool as our daughter was competing the next morning and wanted her to practice prior to the competition. Informed of pass the next morning from night staff. Room had a thermostat problem - heat on for 10 seconds, fan on for 10 seconds then off for 4 seconds all night in a cycle - husband could not sleep and spent from 4 - 5 a.m. with night desk. Morning desk was not concerned with our complaint and said she will leave it up to the cleaning staff to determine if a service call was warranted.

Location: plenty of places to eat & drink nearby
Quick trip for business, hotel check in had a minor glitch on my part that was handled great by the clerk. Under construction so getting to room was a little tricky, pretty clean facility. Only issue was the tv as the screen was totally fuzzy and couldn't watch but I wasn't too concerned as I was only there to sleep

Need sound proof windowsPosted Dec 10, 2013
Pros: Polite staff and comfortable beds and blankets
Cons: -More T.V options with better picture -Noise reduction windows
We stayed in room 226 which faces the highway and didn't notice a problem until we turned off the T.V. You could here every car or truck as it drove by on the highway and explained this to the front desk they politely and understandably changed our room to 203 which was on the opposite side away from the highway and we slept. It snowed that night and at 7:00 am we awoke to an employee shoveling the front walk. Need to buy noise reduction windows otherwise a pleasant enough stay:(

Great hotelPosted Nov 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Quick check in, rooms were clean. The TV did not work properly in any of our rooms and we had three rooms, so that was the only down side. Free breakfast was nice. Nice and clean.

Totally satisfied with our one-night stayPosted Nov 25, 2013
Pros: Right off the 401. Lots of restaurants close by. The room has everything you need, fridge, coffee-maker, big 42" TV, etc
We stopped in Brockville on our way to Montreal for the night and we were very happy with the condition of the hotel, cleaniness and the staff. They had a free continental breakfast. All I had was the coffee and the milk for my cereal because of my allergy. My husband had a bit more. The only thing he didn't like were the eggs and potatoes.

Convient for workPosted Nov 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Average rating. When pool and fitness centre are complete it would more satisfy my needs. Breakfest area is small and most mornings food was luke warm. Nice friendly staff.

Decent room, good price, but needs new TVPosted Oct 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were impressed with the cleanliness of the room (2 queen beds) and bathroom, and even more pleased with the presence of both a mini fridge and microwave n the room - a nice bonus. The beds were very comfortable (my husband wanted to steal a pillow - don't worry, we didn't!) and the shower pressure was just fine. The only complaint we had about the room was that the flat-screen TV was terrible - only a relatively few regular channels with the worst reception I've ever seen in a hotel...we got the impression this was done to essentially force you to pay for a movie (which we didn't). Better TV service is definitely something they need to fix. The breakfast area is quite small, but they have just begun a 6-month reno that is meant to include expanded space for breakfast, so that's not a big deal. The hot food was not the best (we were at breakfast as soon as it opened and the eggs and bacon were already cold). Good selection of cereals etc. but no fruit? Also, the hallway to the rooms smelled very musty - like wet dog (fortunately, this odour did not make its way into the room itself). We would stay again and hopefully the above-noted issues would have been resolved.

Conveniently located close to the 401.Posted Oct 5, 2013
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: The bathroom lights made the bathroom very warm.
Good breakfast options. Small breakfast room, but good table in own room to eat. Room had recently been updated. Bathroom fan was very noisy but could be turned off. Beds were comfortable. Room could be mad very dark with curtains drawn. Although close to the 401, there was no traffic noise in the room when the patio doors were closed.
