I had no contact with owner. Tried calling for 2 hours before I found the key under a mat. Before then I had to go to the shops just to kill time. I was very worried about where we were going to stay on such short notice if I couldn't get hold of anyone. So lucky I found the key. No call back until 10pm and no apology until 2 days after. Not impressed at all.

I booked on a whim, and chose the ibis styles off reviews here, and having seen the town and whats on offer I know I made the BEST CHOICE!
A Modern hotel, with the friendliest staff, my experience had them accomodating to all my requests, from tour advice, bookings, early check-in having come in by train at a ridiculous hour, super efficient turn around in meal, room service!
VERY CLEAN ROOMS, AND OUTDOOR FACILITIES , ALL IN EXCELLENT WORKING ORDER!
I loved Broken Hill, its a novel town and probably the best experience of the outback you will ever have, a truly thriving country town, friendliest people.
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, GET YOURSELVES TO BROKEN HILL AND iBIS STYLES :)

We loved this place. It may not be modern or luxurious, but that is totally made up for by the country experience of staying here. The staff are friendly, it's great to have the guest lounge and dining room, and you are made to feel at home by Mandi from the moment you arrive.

The three of us were checked in by a pleasant and efficient lady. We booked a family room which was very neat and tidy, well equipped and spacious. We were only overnighting and The Lodge was perfect for us.
