Bromley leuk klein stadjePosted Jul 25, 2015

Comfortable, clean hotel in lovely grounds.Posted Jun 16, 2015
We booked on a last minute deal for one night and found the double room spacious, clean and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely book again in staying in the area.

Big hotel. Well,situated.Posted Jun 4, 2015
Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Better lounge bar. It seems to be part of the foyer.
Location: Bromley has a big shopping area. On the edge of London, so coutryside places not far. Central London well connected by transport, thoughnot the tube.
Arrived late but staff very amenable. Good restaurant. Simple but pleasant room. Quiet part of Bromley. Comfortable bed.

Ticked the right boxes on this occasionPosted May 30, 2015
Pros: Staff very pleasant, decent bed and bar food. Nice grounds and setting.
Cons: Space! Still some slightly tired areas although lots of renovation taking place.
We had to make three hour drive here for a funeral and were reluctant to drive back on the same day, so we were glad to have a bed for the night, and somewhere to meet friends for a quiet drink later, but the room was very small and the bathroom was absolutely minute, spotless, but built for midgets! We couldn't open the window so it was too warm, and yes, it did have air conditioning, but prefer real air! Breakfast was in a beautiful room, but as always, the buffet had been sitting a while and everything was lukewarm, sadly. Lovely gardens and a quiet setting, a decent bed and bar food, nice staff ... But very much a chain, and definitely not cheap even on a late website. Like I say, it ticked the boxes on a difficult day, but we wouldn't choose to go again for fun.

Staff need more Health and Safety TrainingPosted May 29, 2015
Booked a break for two nights over the Bank Holiday weekend. On Sunday 24th May at 02.50am I was woken up by the fire alarm going off. I called reception to find out if it Sky was a false alarm someone answered the phone but did not speak. So I then had to wake my Child up and headed downstairs. We reached the ground floor and was told by other guests that it was a false alarm. At no time did I see or here from any of the hotel staff. Alot of the guests had stayed in there rooms. Staff need to be trained in dealing with this kind of situation and how to communicate with guests to keep them informed of what is going on.

Given a room overlooking a skip and shedsPosted May 25, 2015
The room had recently been refurbished and was fairly comfortable. When we first tried to find the room we were at a lost as it was not made clear at reception that we had to go through a secure door which was not sign posted to get access to the room. After a very good breakfast we made our way back to the room and the key would not work so we asked a chambermaid on the floor to assist us which she did very reluctantly and I have to say she was very rude and off putting in her attitude. We complained about her behaviour at the reception but in all honesty we felt nothing would be done about this. As the title said the room was overlooking a skip and some sheds which wasn't very nice. Also the residents in the room next door kept on coming and going during the night banging their door as they did so.

VERY HAPPYPosted May 3, 2015
Pros: VERY CLEAN HOTEL. AMPLE PARKING. GOOD FOOD AND SERVICE.
Cons: ONLY DOWNSIDE WERE THE INCONSIDERATE FELLOW PATRONS WHO WALK THE CORRIDORS TALKING AT THE TOP OF THEIR VOICES. A SIGN TO REMIND THEM WOULD BE NICE.
Location: NICE SURROUNDINGS SET AWAY FROM MAIN ROADS.
ALREADY BOOKED A RETURN VISIT FOR 2 NIGHTS NEXT TIME.

Hotel is OK, prices are notPosted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Good location for me
Cons: Pricing is 15%-20% high
Location: Convenient for most of SE London and NE Kent
Decent hotel, conveniently located. Bit of a rabbit warren. Not luxurious but certainly one up from a Premier Inn and currently being refurbished The price I paid was much more than one up from a Premier Inn though, and breakfast is extra. Interestingly the invoice I got from the hotel specified the rate they received from Expedia, not the rate I paid Expedia. The rate Expedia paid is about right for the room and hotel ! Go figure..........
