the water was just mildly warm. the shower rod was almost falling. other than that it wasn't that bad.

“A reasonable place”

Cons: Hotel is in BRONX and the eighbourhood is not good. Close to high way, very noisy. Pros: Rate is very reasonable. Front desk is very friendly and patient, helped me order lunch (took him ~mins on the line, etc.), and explained to me the surrounding area and how to get arond in the city, etc. I initially booked 2 nights Non-Refundabl.e, but I missed my flight and couldn't use the first night. Called Expedia and Expedia put me on hold and called the hotel and they kindly cancel my first night reservation without charge. Overall, a good hotel but with glitches, but if you have more money to spend, you can always live in Manhaton. P.S. Safety shouldn't be a problem, since Police Statis is only 20 feet away

“hell hole”

filty room no hot water ironing board disgusting matress horrible hole in middle bathtub curtains filty i think the place should close down ive been in other hojo hotels like puerto rico and miami those are exelent but this one is a shame to be part of hojo hotels is really dirty i will never go bak ps blower no gud either wasted my money n time in a dumpster

“Will never stay here again”

The only thing that helped me feel safe was the police station next door. I did not expect there to be a 15+ minute walk to Yankee Stadium. The entire second floor reeked of marijuana. The bathroom fan is extremely loud and wakes everyone up when someone turns on the light when they go to the bathroom during the night. The continental breakfast consists of cereal, apples, donuts, mini bagels, mini muffins and juice/coffee.

“Really friendly staff”

We were looking for a quick overnight place to stay after a NYC concert, on short notice. I think you know what you'll get with a HoJo - not fancy by any means, but it was clean and comfortable. What impressed me most was the staff. They were as friendly as could be and not what an out of towner might expect from a Bronx hotel. Very accommodating and I'd stay there again. Plus, the police station is right next door if you're worried about safety :-)

“Scary Neighborhood”

Hotel was okay and staff was very friendly and accomdating, but surroindaing neightbood was very rough. We felt very safe at teh hotel since tehre was a police station next door, but getting to and from public transportation required walking through some very scary areas. I would not say here unless you have transportation or plan on taking taxi's everywhere.

“Smelly”

Our room smelled like old urine. The shower head was so dirty that water would not come out of it.

“No complaints”

Nice clean room, reasonably priced (for NYC).

“WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN”

THIS HOTEL WAS QUIET,CLEAN, AND COMFORTABLE. IM GLAD THAT IT WAS SO CLOSE TO YANKEE STADIUM BECAUSE I CAME FROM MIAMI TO SEE THE JAYZ AND EMINEM CONCERT. THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY. THE COMPLIMENTRY BREAKFAST WAS A GOOD WAY TO START THE DAY. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE WAS WHEN I ARRIVED TO CHECK IN THEY TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO WAIT BECAUSE THE ROOM THAT WAS ASSIGN TO ME THE GUEST BEFORE US WERE STILL IN THERE. THE ONLY THING THAT I THOUGHT WAS I HAD NEVER HEARD OF ROOMS BEING A ASSIGNED AND I HAD ALREADY SEEN SEVERAL PEOPLE CHECK OUT ALREADY. SO I HAD TO PUT MY FOOT DOWN AND REQUEST FOR ROOM TO BE READY RIGHT AWAY AND THAT I WAS NOT GOING TO WAIT. OTHER THEN THAT SITUATION YES I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AND YES I WILL BE COMING BACK.
