“Would stay here again”

We went for a little get-a-way. It is beautiful this time of year up there. Nice country setting. It was worth it for the whirlpool alone. My only complaint is that they need to do some remodeling as far the the peeling wallpaper in the bathroom and a few cracked tiles. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

“great deal”

The room was clean & the staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was a bonus. It was close to lots of attractions. And the hotel was inexpensive. I would stay here again.

“My Review”

Reasonably priced hotel not too far from Danbury. Stayed on a week night and it was an easy, quiet experience. Breakfast isn't anything special but overall no major complaints. Hotel had a nice homey feel to it as opposed to a hotel feel you'd get at a Days Inn or other lower priced chains.

“Hotel near Danbury, CT”

The hotel put a hold of $150 on my card and I did not receive it back for a few days. When you only have a specific amount of money that was a bother. I had to wait for 2 days for the return of it- and we went to Washington, DC in that time. I have not had this happen at any other hotel. The rooms were nice and comfortable and the continental breakfast was good and filling. The heat was harder to maintain. It would either be too hot or it got cool, and the bathroom is the coldest place- you don't want to be in there too long with bare feet.

“Good Except for one thing...”

No water pressure! It took forever for the trickling water to get hot. Other than that, we have no complaints.

“Average at best”

The staff were helpful and polite. I had a problem with the wireless internet one day, but it was fixed when I returned that night. The Hotel is somewhat run down and the breakfest was sub par.

“Was OK but wireless was crappy”

The room was very nice and comfortable. I liked the room very much. If I was just vacationingt it would have been a nice stay. Unfortunately as I was on a business trip and needed to use the wireless while I was in the hotel room. The wireless service left much to be desired. It was very difficult to connect to and the speed was barely above dialup when I could connect. I ended up going to a nearby McDonald's and using their wireless instead. Thank You Ronald! :-)

“Good for what it was”

Just stayed one night. Not much select for hotels in the area so had to settle. The room's decor was dated. The bathroom floor was stickly. However the room smelled clean. The pillows were flat. The service was quick and friendly. The continential breakfast was good. Had a nice variety.

“Don't do it”

Out stay start off with the room not ready at 3:30pm when we arrived. Check in was at 3pm. The door to the room was wide open with it not prepared for us. Bugs were in the room heavily due to the door wide open. We left for dinner and our concert and returned later in the night. At first look the room looks good even if the bathroom is small and when you sit on toliet the roll of toliet paper is in your side. Upon further look there were dead bugs in the tub and spiders in corners of the room. There was no closet bar for hanging clothes and only an office chair in the room to sit on. The hot tub was dirty. The pepared breakfast was a lie. It was in a smelly, dirty room with no staff to make sure it was maintained or replenished. At 9am the food was already depleted. No milk, no waffle mix, very little cereal, and nothing to put on toast or bagels. Coffee was undrinkable. On the good side the room was quiet dispite constution behind hotel.
