Homey, warm, and friendly. I shared a bathroom but it felt private. I miss Boston!

Home away from homePosted Nov 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
I actually live in Brookline, but when my mom came to visit my tiny one bedroom apartment was a little tight. I booked a couple nights for my mom and I and we had a blast! I've always loved Coolidge Corner and had a great time shopping and eating at all the fantastic local places. The hotel was extremely quiet and peaceful. The bed and sheets were heavenly. They had an amazing spread for breakfast and the manager is super nice. He is also extremely knowledgable about Boston and it's history! I definitely will be back soon :)

Interesting hotel.Posted Nov 11, 2013
B&B hotel is an interesting experience. The setting is somewhat scary, don't know why there are still models dressing old times clothes in the middle of the stairs, looks scary sometimes. All the other experience is excellent especially you can talk to people from different parts of the world.

Staff was great. Very enjoyable stay. Parking $2/day (very reasonable). Would have been nice if Hotels.com gave address and telephone number on reservation form

Quant B&B, but not updated.Posted Jul 16, 2013
Pros: The daytime and nighttime managers and the ability to get to know the other guests around the breakfast table.
Cons: Some updating of the facility.
Location: The location was great as it was very close to the train that took you everywhere you wanted to go.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful, but the B&B itself could have used some tender, loving care. Also, the owners were only seen when there was a problem which took away from the personal charm of a B&B. And due to the fact that the city of Boston does not allow cooking in B&B's, the breakfasts did not compare to the wonderful breakfasts we have had at other B&B's.

Great little B&B close to Longwood medical areaPosted Jul 5, 2013
Visiting Boston for work in the Longwood area, and decided to stay here instead of in a standard business hotel. It was a really lovely, homely place to stay, in an old weatherboard home. There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance for dinner and anything else you might need, as well as a green line tram stop. The only downside was the building's air con motors were located near my window, so I needed earplugs to sleep if going to bed early. Also, if you were elderly you may not want to stay here as getting luggage up and down the stairs might be difficult. I would definitely recommend this place to friends visiting Boston.
