Pros: Staff went out of their way to help you. Greeting you with a smile. Interested in your day and were familiar with what's on in Broome.
Location: Close to cable beach. Bus stop right outside.
Hotel staff excellent. Greeted on arrival with iced drink and lovely scented cool towel presented on a platter with flowers. Having checked out at midday had the opportunity to shower and freshen up before going to the airport in a lovely bathroom with towels, shampoo etc . This was after 4 hours site seeing in very muggy conditions. Beautiful grounds, Lovely pool. Quiet atmosphere. Met all my needs.

A taste of Bali without leaving AustraliaPosted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: The reception staff (Gabrielle in particular) the theme and layout of the resort, its location, the amenities.
Cons: More cute green frogs as visitors to the bathroom - that was a unique experience and a highlight for my husband who took lots of photos
Location: Cable Beach and camel rides at sunset are nearby plus " China Town" and the shops filled with beautiful South Sea pearls......
This was a lovely resort. We came to Broome in the Wet Season -so high temperatures and humidity and with fewer tourists visiting than if we had come a month or so later. The resort was well laid out in a beautiful garden setting (in a Balinese theme) that afforded maximum privacy for all of the villas. The staff were friendly and helpful (especially Gabrielle who helped us with all of our queries re: things to do, places to go etc). The Studio apartment was heaps bigger than we expected with a fully equipped kitchen plus the outdoor bathroom and additional "alfresco dining area" with BBQ added a bit of a novelty factor. The location was close to Cable Beach, within walking distance (ie a couple of blocks) to a general store and local pub with a bus stop into town outside the resort - but we would recommend hiring a car for a few days if staying here to help with the getting around town (due to the heat and the fact that Broome is pretty spaced out in terms of its attractions, places to eat etc). Would we stay here again? Definitely! (plus the little green frog that visited us one night in the bathroom was totally gratis and had 100% "cute" factor! ). We look forward to coming again in the Dry Season and being able to eat in the Resort's dining room. We really enjoyed our stay here - thanks!

Very comfortable, close to beach, far from townPosted Jan 4, 2015
Terrific find, we were very comfortable staying at the Bali Hai Resort. It's a short walk from the beach, close to a convenience store & a reasonable pub/eatery. You will need to rent a car or work out the Broome bus service to get to the center of town where the action is. We were slightly disappointed that the restaurent cafe was closed during the wet season, but there were plenty of other options nearby.

Comfortable units, exotic decorPosted Dec 10, 2014
Pros: The outside shower room was great, open to the sky but completely private. The staff were particularly pleasant and helpful
Cons: The only thing which could be improved is the positioning of the air conditioning unit which was immediately above the bed, too close.
Location: 10 minutes walk from Cable Beach and the bus to Chinatown stopped just outside. There was a convenience store (rather expensive) and a pub nearby.
Lovely and well equipped self contained units in pretty tropical garden. Decor was South Pacific. We had our own barbecue and used it every night. We also enjoyed relaxing in the pool when we returned hot from sight seeing.
