“Good Hotel”

This hotel is a little further out of town, but not by much. Quiet area. Very nice rooms at a very good price.

It was a great experience especially because it was isolated from loud noises. We loved the pool, the breakfast and our privacy.

The staff was courteous, patient and eager to please. The hotel was easily accessable, close to the major highways and clean. The continental breakfast was prepared on time and the surroundings were very hospitable. I was pleased that I had followed my instincts and not invested more money in a more expensive facility, because this property was obviously worth every cent.

“Great deal”

Our stay at this hotel was great, it is on the outskirts of the city, but close enough to drive anywhere within 5-10 minutes. The desk clerk was sooooo friendly, and very helpful with directions.

“Cheaper than the one in Brownsville”

A typical La Quinta. The rates are cheaper than the other La Quinta located a few miles closer to town. No restaurants nearby. Fairly quiet, because it is set back from the freeway.

“Reasonable price 30-45 min from South Padre”

They had a great morning buffet, it was clean, the staff was friendly, and it wasn't to far to South Padre. Very reasonable rates. Outside pool was clean but seemed very secluded from the rest of the hotel.

Great and friend only down side we were there a week and the dryer did not work

First the smell was strong and had to go to the store to get some "febreze". Sprayed most of one pint to reduce the smell. Second, the night was very chilly and the heater did not work.

“better hotels close by”

I put one of my employees at this hotel last week. He said the hotel was old, dirty and worn out - ask me to please never send him there again.
