It's a nice little hotel only about 20 mins from South Padre Island, the only thing I didn't like there was no iron, microwave, frig. Other than that it was nice

It was great, the second shift lady didn't get her name was a bit rude but not enough to change my mind about this motel. It isn't five star but excellent for what you paid for

Better than expected

Clean and convenient to downtown Brownsville. We were worried about safety and convenience. (It had been a long time since we had lived in Brownsville and we knew that some areas had changed significantly.)

This was the worst stay I ever had at this hotel. The second night we were there they refused to clean the entire room. We only found out about the problem when we returned late on the 7th. The room was not vacuumed; there were no clean towels, there were no amenities; nothing had been touched. The room was just as we had left it when went out that morning. We had to insist that the night clerk come up and look at the room. All he said was that since there were papers left on the bed they were under instructions not to make up the bed. he could not explain why they did not clean the rest of the room or bring in towels; he only asked us "what do you want me to do?" he offered no satisfaction. I told him if there was a problem because of the items left they had my cell number they could have called me. They never explained why they did not call. I went to the front desk the following morning and there was no adjustment offered. We still have the pictures of the way the room was left unclean and the way we left it when we checked out. I have disputed this charge with my credit card company and notified the agency we booked through (Expedia) of our extreme dissatisfaction. I consider the cleaning people and those at the front desk to be untrained in handling small problems and letting them simply become bigger problems because they do not care about the companies reputation. You should train your staff to solve problems not create them.
