"beautiful place, great stay, wonderful breakfast"
Just about three blocks down from Grote Markt on Wollestraat, this feels much more like a "guesthouse" than a hotel. The owner will give you a warm welcome with about 20 minutes of overview of a city map and a tour of his beautifully restored/maintained building. His sitting room is beautiful and provides a wonderful space to sit and plan your day or reflect upon your travels. Breakfast is included here (served by the proprietor and his girlfriend) and should not be missed. The array of cheeses was a perfect accompaniment to our morning meal and a fantastic start to our day. Bruges is full of old-world charm, and this is the perfect place to complete the experience while retaining quiet and privacy.

It would be impossible to praise Bonifacius Guesthouse too much. Lynne is a wonderful hostess. The inn is charming and the location is excellent. We felt like guests in a friend's private home. The daily breakfast is magnificent. Lynne's hospitality is second to none. Her recommendations for activities and restaurants were excellent. Book a room with a canal view and don't forget to check out the rooftop garden for great views of the city, especially in the evening.

We had a wonderful at short break at Huis 't Schaep. The accommodation was superb. We had a suite on the top floor which was massive and furnished to a high standard. Our host Michael was very attentive and recommended places to visit and booked restaurants for us. His wife made the best scrambled eggs at breakfast! I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff here are absolutely fantastic, and couldn't have provided a warmer or more professional welcome. The decor is really beautiful, and the room was clean and comfortable (bed was amazing!), our only complaint was one threadbare towel but it was sorted very swiftly.
The location is brilliant - it's close to all the shops and restaurants, and only Euro7.50 from the station.
The breakfast was overpriced, but all food is quite pricey in Bruges anyway. It's at a nice relaxing time, anyway, finishing at 10:30am - perfect for a lazy weekend away!
