"Lovely self catering hotel in the middle of town"
We loved this hotel, Hans the owner was very helpful & friendly. Although the hotel was in the middle of the old town, it had the feel of being in a village, with only a very short walk to the local Carrefour Supermarket, shops, fantastic buildings, churches, canals, museums etc.
Yes, Brugges is full of cobbles, & the hotel is very quiet, the only noises being vehicles, presumably going to & from work across the cobbles & church bells rings. But both of these were NOT intrusive.
Our apartment consisted of 2 rooms plus a bathroom, with small bath & shower above. (Toiletries, tissues & hair dryer supplied.)
The kitchen had a fridge, (with a small freezer section), cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster etc. Washing up liquid & sponge were already there. As was salt & pepper & cooking oil. The only thing we could not find in the kitchen was a bottle opener, & I am sure if we had asked Hans he would have fetched one. As it was throughout the day there was free tea & coffee available downstairs, & one could sit outside on the terrace.
The lounge area had a sofa, coffee table, cupboards etc, with a TV, which had BBC, as well as Belgium channels. There was a table & 2 chairs.
The WiFi connection was good.
All in all, a very nice place to stay, which we hope to visit again.
