Fabulous

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: The location was great
Cons: The pillows, they were so uncomfortable.
Location: The location is great, as I've said before, you are never far from anything in Bruges, everything is walkable
We really enjoyed this hotel, great location, you don't have to walk far to find resteraunts, cafes etc., though I have to say being January, quite a few were shut, but that didn't stop us enjoying ourselves. In fact everything is in walking distance, and a great place to explore. The hotel was spotless, staff very friendly and helpful, the bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom spacious, my only gripe, was the pillows, they weren't comfortable. But that aside, this is a brilliant hotel, and we'd stay there again, if we go back to Bruges.

City break

Posted Jan 16, 2015
Hotel was in a good location in central Bruges just a ten minute walk from the main Markt square with attractions such as the De Haalve Maan brewery and the Minnewater Lake literally round the corner from the hotel. We got a taxi from the station as it was raining but walked on the way back and it took maybe ten minutes. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious and staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Great city break in Bruges.

Ottimo hotel a 2 passi dal centro di brugge

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Hotel davvero consigliabile a tutti. Comodo, a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione e ad altri 5 dal centro di brugge; personale gentile, camere spaziose, accoglienti e pulitissime. Ottima e varia anche la colazione. Un bellissimo soggiorno in una città davvero splendida

The hotel is well situated.

Posted Jan 4, 2015
Pros: The decor was pleasant and rooms were spacious.
Cons: Something should be done about the smell, which was only inside the building not in the surrounding streets.
Location: All the major tourist attractions are within walking distance.
Upon entering the hotel there was an offensive smell, which when can only be described as sewerage. This smell became even stronger in our room. Being New Year we did not say anything as it would have been to late to find other accommodation. The room was freezing when we entered, we tried to get it going to no avail. A reading light on the wall was hanging off the wall. We went to reception to say that the heating was not working and the reply from the very sarcastic man behind the desk was "have you tried switching it on" When we got back the same man said again in the same tone as before, that the green light meant that the heating was off, orange was medium and red was full on. When in the world has green meant off. When trying to turn the shower on the button was so stiff that the two of us tried and failed, again after complaining this time a women again quite sarcastic "you just have to pull it very hard", insinuating that we had not.

Great location!

Posted Dec 29, 2014
We stayed for four nights, and from the times we spoke with the staff they were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location for all amenities and quite a short (ish) walk from the station. The only downside that we felt was that the walls were paper thin! Our first night we had some very loud and rowdy neighbours, and to be fair the reception did phone/speak to them after we complained. The second & third nights however, we had a rather loud snorer next door. It was VERY loud. His partner obviously couldn't sleep either as she had the tv on ALL night twice as loud!! So in the four night (meant to be relaxing) break, we didn't really sleep a wink. Which was a great shame. We stayed in the extended building, not the main one, so I don't know if the walls were thicker in the main one but it was a bit of a downer on what was otherwise, a really nice stay.

Pros: clean, comfortable, very modern, new facilities, dimmer on the lights!
Cons: there are courtyards to get between lobby and a certain section of rooms. wasn't easy sometimes in the cold and rain
Location: ideal location; walking distance from the train station as well as all the major historic attractions in Brugge
very kind attendants. breakfast says it is included in the stay, but you do not pay for it until you check out -- costs 12.50euro extra, beware

Central Location

Posted Dec 26, 2014
Pros: Central location
Cons: only give 2 coffee sachets, any extras are 2 euro each. Lights on timers and lights go off and you cant switch back on again - annoying
Location: Diamond factory and chocolate factory and museums and shops
Great location - in the middle of town so can walk everywhere

Good location and very friendly staff. Opposite is a wonderful restaurant/tea room called Carpe Diem which is worth checking out.
