Quiet but near to everything!Posted Sep 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Friendly, helpful staff. Fantastic continental breakfast. Comfy room and bathroom - little bit dated but very clean and tidy. In a quiet little square and our room overlooked the canal and a pretty bridge. Little disappointed our 'double bed" was two twin beds pushed together - with single duvets!

Just what we were looking forPosted Sep 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel Bryghia was exactly what we were looking for, and offered us the kind of break we were hoping for. The staff are friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the breakfast immensely. It was delicious.

Close to main squarePosted Aug 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
We only stayed one night and for an overnight stay it suited our purpose. Although the room was clean it was quite small and quite dated. The bed was a bit on the soft side and the shower cubicle was really small with a shower head that you couldn't angle so I had to hold it in my hand when showering. The room overlooked the small square (we didn't get one overlooking the canal) which was often noisy at night because of people hanging around there chatting at 2am! But there were many positives; the staff were very polite and welcoming, the breakfast was lovely and plentiful and the hotel was clean and very conveniently situated.

Great location without the crowdsPosted Aug 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Tourists don't seem to stray North of the central Market Square which is less than 5 mins away. Attentive but unobtrusive Patron serves an excellent breakfast. Our room was comfortable with quite a large bathroom: all meticulously clean.

A tad old fashioned but not in a quaint wayPosted Jul 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel itself was spotless but very dated. The lounge and the restaurant were dated but in keeping with the hotels look, but the bedroom looked like a last update was in a 1950-70's style, definitely not a quaint look. The bedroom was on the small side but adequate for a one night stay any longer I would suggest asking for a larger room. The TV had few channels, none in English that we could find and unwatchable as the TV reception needs some attention, this we did not report as we were not there to watch TV but to see Brugge so was not a problem to us but if you wish to watch TV this is a problem which needs attention. The parking or lack of it isn't a problem there is an underground car park a few minutes away and extremely good value for 24hrs. Overall a nice hotel with pleasant staff, in a quiet area but only a short walk into the centre to the restaurants and bars. I wouldn't wish to pay its full tariff, look for a discount.
