--Greeted at the front desk with a map and a list of events.
--Color-changing showerhead: green is cold; blue is warm; red is hot: heat sensitive lights change with the water temperature.
--Vending machines offer snack items, nothing substantial, and beverages;
--No phones in the room (I used my cell phone to call the front desk to notify them of the fight next door)
--Excellent TV selection (BBC1, 2, and ITV, in addition to the regional stations)
--Separate toilet; shower and small sink in the room: not for shy people!!
--Two small pillows; two hand towels; two bath towels; multi-purpose soap dispenser in shower
--Free computer in the lobby
Brugges is a walkable city, but the buses will take you downtown. After about 9 PM in the off season, there are not too many choices, if any, in the area of the Etap hotel. During the day, visit the nice bistro "Bean around the world" near the statue of Jan Van Eyck.
