“Odd”

Sprawling place, lightly faded, strange choice of pictures in the corridors but helpful staff, near centre and has a pool ! If you're driving is on the main road into the centre on the left - look for the horse carriage, old bicycles etc ....

“Individual and quirky hotel”

We stayed at this hotel at the end of April this year. We flew to Brussels and travelled to Bruges by train - an easy journey that took about 90 minutes. The hotel was an easy ten minute walk from the railway station, but there are taxis available. It was a refreshing change from staying with a large hotel chain. The rooms were pleasant, comfortable and clean. The public rooms were unusual, with artifacts and collectables in every corner - when we were there it was all based around an Easter theme. The pool was small but certainly more than large enough to unwind in aftera day in Bruges. The staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. The only delay we had was checking out which co-incided with a German coach party leaving at the same time.

“Good for the price”

Fine as a budget hotel. The public areas were showing a bit of wear but the room we stayed in was OK. Not brilliant but OK. The bathroom was a bit tired; missing shelf above the loo, cracked tile, bit tatty in the corners but it was alright. The beds were comfy and the furniture in the room was fine. Breakfast was a decent range of sweet and savoury in the Continental manner. Staff helpful. The swimming pool was OK. Could have been a bit cleaner but we used it several times during a hot week. Not bad for the price.

“Nice Hotel”

We just got back of our New Years Eve- trip to Brugge and stayed in this nice 3-star hotel. We found it immediately as it is located just outside the heart of Brugge. Within 5 minutes of walking distance of the Old centre. For the price we paid we got a nice, cosy hotel, great breakfast, a bit old-fashioned room, indoor swimming-pool and a great location!

“Helpful”

The hotel was easy to find, but has only limited parking. The owner was very friendy and helpful giving us recommendations on places to eat and a guide book with map allowing us to explore brugges by foot. It is a short walk to the central square and attractions.

“Delightful, well located European-style hotel”

A small family operated hotel which was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Our room was a good large size by European standards, corridors and public areas were clean, albeit a bit worn. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Well located close to railway station, yet a short walk only to the Old Market area where the sights are incredible. Would return again in a heartbeat!

“Great for families with small children”

Hotel reception area is lovely. The room was adequate, not plush but clean and new looking. The pool and children's area were great for our 5 year old. There is very limited parking on-site but a very convenient public parking close-by for 9euros for 24 hours. The hotel is well situated for the sights.
