“Just what we wanted”

Only stayed one night. Hotel very clean - staff very helpful. Breakfast help yourself - cerial, juice, cofee, tea, egg and bacon - great start to the day. Hotel is only one street away from market square - handy but not noisy of a night.

“Well Situated”

Right in the center within walking distance of the town hall. Poor parking choices.

“Excellent experience”

We had a great experience at the Hans Memling. The staff were all very nice especially when checking in a couple hours early. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is within 2 minutes of the Markt. The desk closed at midnight but we were able to get in afterwards by the security guard. Breakfast was very good for a continental breakfast as well.

“Beautiful, friendly, welcoming”

The Hans Memling Hotel is about 2 blocks from the central Market Square. The rooms are large and the baths spacious (ours had a double-sink). The decor is modern and up-to-date, with a spare, european feel. Comfort would be a 5 if the bed was a true double, instead of two singles pushed together. All told, a great place, in a delightful town.

“Fantastic location in centre of Bruges”

The hotel had the facilities of a four star hotel at a budget price. The included breakfast was ample and set you up for the day. The friendly staff were always on-hand to advise and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is situated minutes from the Markt where there are plenty of places to eat lovely food at a good price. We have visited Bruges many times for both leisure and business and this is certainly one of the best hotels we have used.

“Great location, close to everything”

The room on top floor was warm, clean and cosy with very good view; great variety of food and drink for breakfast. The hotel is situated in the city centre, walking distance from the station as well. The only disadvantage is the noise from night club on the other side of the street. I will still recommend the hotel

We were very happy with the hotel. Very close to the main square; a nice breakfast and friendly staff.

“Very Good Value”

We stayed here with friends for three days in the off-season. The per day rate was very reasonableand came with breakfast. The breakfast was first rate. Generous portions of eggs, bacon, rolls, cereals, etc. The breakfast ended at 1000, but the staff did not rush anyone out or put the food immediately away. The hotel is a three minute walk from the center square, a great location. Take advantage of the municipal parking garage around the corner at about 8-9 Euros per day. Mixed drinks in the hotel bar are on the expensive side, but the beer is very reasonable. Streets in Brugge are tough to navigate (lots of one ways) so bring a Tom Tom or GPS. Best to just leave the car parked and walk, which is very easy to do from the hotel.

“Will use again”

Although we only stayed 1 night, the Hotel was great for our 2 day stay in Bruge. We arrived early morning from the overnight ferry and were able to check in to our room on arrival appx 10.00am. Made to feel welcome by reception staff immediately. Good quality city centre/tourist hotel, great from being in the heart of the city, room was good size and very clean. Good continental breakfast served. We enjoyed our stay and when we return to Bruge we will certainly use the Hotel again.
