Beautiful old building, bathrooms not well supplied and an odor, breakfast was well done

Not good a good experiencePosted Jan 1, 2013
Cons: Old, creaky and no staff when we arrived, just a note with our room number and key
Location: Too far outside of Bruge to walk into, not a good location on a very busy road.
Pretty run down and shabby, I would not recommend.

Interesting and great valuePosted Sep 17, 2012 on Hotels.com
This is a great location with lovely grounds. Its unusual and does not have the full hotel services but it has a lovely old building and history and well worth a visit.

Perfect placePosted Jul 24, 2012
Pros: The view
Location: Very quiet village.
Booked our room a bit out of the blue as it was the beginning of a road trip through Germany and we were meeting family in Koblenz. We originally thought we'd get a cab into town for the evening, but decided to stay put. The food in the hotel was superb and afterwards we stumbled upon a local wine festival in the village. A truly memorable night. And the breakfast the next morning was amazing! Try to get the rooms out the front as they have a balcony that overlooks the Mosel and the grape vines beyond. Perfect start to the week.
