No wifi!!

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Style and the breakfast was wonderful.
Cons: Seriously, fix your wifi problem. It's not rocket science, just pay the money and get it done.
Location: Central locatin, perfect.
They have no wifi in some of the rooms. They know it is a problem and are working on it. I feel we were mislead and would have stayed somewhere else if we knew this. There are plenty of lovely hotels in Brugge to choose from.

Lovely hotel

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: It's comfort, great breakfast and so close to centre.
Location: Very close to centre, lovely city to visit, plenty to see if you stop over like we did for three days.
Lovely hotel, great buffet breakfast, room very comfortable, huge bed. Found staff very friendly. Made use of sauna & steam room, great way to relax for an hour or so,

Beautiful hotel

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: At times it was nice to relax during the day in the hotel away from the crush of tourists.
Cons: A double bed. Freshly cooked eggs to order as it doesn't keep well in a buffet.
Location: Great to get out early morning and evenings to enjoy the canals and squares without to many people. Hire bicycles to get a further out of the city.
The hotel is central to everything and beautifully decorated in the reception rooms. Our room was comfortable but we would have preferred a proper double bed not two twin beds pushed together with two single duvets.

beautiful hotel, good location, great breakfast

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: quiet, good location, gorgeous decoration and high ceilings
Cons: receptionists usefullness, better internet, better storage facilites of bags (door unlocked)
Location: centre of Bruge, beautiful city
very pleased when we arrived, gorgeous entrance and overall style to my taste. Not the best staff all in all and internet didnt work for most of my stay, then only worked from the breakfast room, but breakfast was very good. Shower a bit small. They tried to charge us for a mini bar item we didnt have which was disappointing to end the trip (didn't touch the mini bar) and one day we came back to find someone else's dry cleaning on out bed...

Excellent hotel, ideally located.

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: It's close proximity to the city centre
Cons: It is a management decision not to allow small jugs of fresh milk in the rooms. It would be nice to have the option.
Location: Bruges is walkable city but the hotel location is ideal for the many attractions near by.
We stayed at the Hotel Oud Huis De Peellaert for 3 nights. This was our fifth visit to Bruges but this hotel was by far the best for location. We stayed in the newer annexe at the back of the hotel which i think was probably just as well as there was a noisy bar opposite the hotel which would disturb guests staying at the front of the hotel. We stayed in an executive suite which was extremely clean and comfortable. It included a mini bar and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the staff professional yet friendly.

Hotel close to city centre

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Friendly, efficient, nice food, comfortable room
Cons: It would be nice to be able to park onsite but in Bruges, this is a real luxury. They have some spaces but you need to book early.
Location: Read the guide books! Loads to see, boat rides, history, architecture and over 300 eateries!!
Second visit and another excellent stay. Staff were brilliant - very helpful and friendly. New dining room is very nice.

Great location in quiet setting.

Posted May 29, 2014
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Add robes and slippers in the rooms
Location: Easy walking distance to all the sites in downtown Bruges but far enough away from the busy streets and squares.
Everyone at the hotel was very helpful, professional, and accommodating. They even opened their morning breakfast early for us because we had to leave prior to their scheduled time. The furnishings, appointments, bar and breakfast rooms were exquisite. All in all, very lovely hotel.

Close to the centre of Bruges.

Posted May 25, 2014
Pros: It's overall ambience and it's brilliant breakfasts.
Cons: Hard to fault.
Location: Close to the centre of Bruges - everything was close to hand - café/bars, museums, canals, shops etc.
A lovely hotel, clean, comfortable, friendly and efficient staff.
