“Excellent Hotel”

This is a beautiful hotel with very spacious rooms. My husband and I traveled with 4 teen-agers and booked two double rooms with an extra bed in each room. One of the rooms was very spacious and all 4 teens chose to stay together. The hotel staff was very accommodating and readily agreed to move the extra bed out of one of the rooms and into the other. Extra towels and toiletries were also supplied. The breakfast buffet is exceptionally generous with both hot and cold dishes, juices, coffee and tea. Many guests make a sandwich prior to leaving for the day. The teens especially enjoyed the fresh croissants and Nutella!

“Nice stay”

We stayed for two nights in the off-season. The hotel was lovely...from the entrance to the front desk service to the room. The included breakfast was also very nice and served in the beautiful breakfast room. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

“What a pleasant stay!”

I stayed 3 nights in Hotel Oud Huis de Peellaert and I enjoyed every minute there! The guestroom is quiet, cozy and clean with a pretty modern bathroom. The corridor is spacious and bright. You can always hear nice music playing and smell something fragrant in the corridor and in the elevators! Moreover, the location is just perfect, you can easily access all the major attrations by foot. Last of all, they serve nice breakfast. The setting of the breakfast room is so elegant and they serve great, HOT (not just warm like most the hotels do) coffee! I highly recommend Hotel Oud Huis de Peellaert.

“Nice, new hotel in a very convenient location”

This newly, nicely remodeled hotel is only a few hundred yards from the Market Square, but is relatively quiet, even though it is directly across from a couple of hostel and the associated bar. The front desk and cleaning staff is very friendly and helpful. There was a time when we requested that the bed sheets be replaced and they were very apologetic. They do only clean until 2 pm. We have breakfast included in our room and the buffet style offering is good, including the typical bacon, sausages, scrambled and boiled eggs, several types of cheese, cold cut, and smoked salmon together with mixed fruits, bananas and apples. Coffee, milk, and orange juice are also included. The only complaint we have is that they use a dishwasher but apparently skip the manual step of removing the left over food before feeding the machine. As a result, you can see bits of things on the back side of almost all their newly washed and dried plates. Watch out for taxis from the train station. The one we used did not have the meter on and arbitrarily charged us 15 Euro on a 7 minute drive that should have been 7 Euro or so (I took taxi from the hotel twice and paid attention to the meter) before one counts our 4 carry-ons in.

“Couldn't be better ...”

The hotel is in really good conditions. I actually asked them when it was remodeled and it seems that it was just completed (beg of 2011). The room was really nice. It was in the top floor in an area where the construction is mixed with wood structures .. really nice. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. We also had breakfast there and it was really good. Location is really good as well. I would definitely recommend it and I would stay there again if I have the change to go back to Bruges.

“perfect in all ways...”

The staff is extraordinarily friendly...even to feeding the parking meters while we had lunch with guests. The locale is perfect, and the ambience charming. We definitely recommend the Ould Huis de Peelleart!

“Great Location”

The hotel is within walking distance of many historic areas of Bruges. The staff was helpful with suggestions for seeing the highlights of the city, since we were only there for two days. The hotel's common areas were very beautiful and the room we stayed in was clean and comfortable.
