“Quiet, peaceful and elegant”

We loved this hotel with its convenient location. It met our needs completely. The room was great (given a free upgrade!) - with lovely views. Staff were very helpful without being intrusive. Most people were couples, the few families with young children were looked after very well - nothing was too much bother for the staff.

“Our New year break”

The hotels location was absolutely ideal for all of the local surroundings, also easily accessed from the train station. The room we had was clean, tidy and very spacious. The breakfast was pleasant, and even nicer on New years' day with a complimentary flute of champagne! The Manager an Manageress were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for them, we most certainly would recommend a stay at this hotel, many thanks.

“Lovely place”

Really nice hotel in a characterful old Bruges property. The staff are very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. I felt like the place was very welcoming of our young baby of 10 months. The location was perfect - very near the main square. Great continental breakfast.

“Great location and nice feel”

Walburg is in a great location for enjoying Bruges. Our room was a nice size and clean.we were on top floor and had a nice view of the Belfry tower and churches. Would recommend requesting a dual window room to get air flow as our room did not have A/C (although the weather was awesome-60's, so it didn't bother us much). Included breakfast is great. Overall, a good fit.

“hotel lovely room basic”

the hotel building is beautiful and maintained to a high standard. the breakfast was good too and the service was excellent. the lady on reception was not overly welcoming or helpful. more business like than warm. the standard room was on the top floor. it was clean and spacious and had everything you needed. however compared to the luxury of the rest of the hotel it was obviously laking. bare walls and low hanging beams to bang your head on. the were no sumptuous upholsteries or soft furnishings. and no overhead shower. location wise its ideal.

“OK but not great”

Good location, general hotel was great, the rooms however were a little small and the absence of shower screen/curtain made it near enough impossible to shower without soaking the entire bathroom. Lady at reception got very angry at us as we asked for a map of the city two days in a row.
