Great family room in the beautiful city of Brugge!Posted Jun 2, 2013
Pros: Clean, spacious, comfortable!
Cons: If I had to choose one thing, I wish the parking was closer.
Location: Only a few minutes walking from the main square.
The family room located on the first floor overlooking the canal was very nice and comfortable. There were two rooms and three beds total; one king, and two single. The staff put a cot as well, but our daughter just slept with us. It is more like an apartment without the kitchen. The bathroom was big and the shower and tub were nice, I had the best bath ever! The hotel is located only a few minutes walking to the main square and if you drive there I would suggest parking in their garage which is located about 5-10 minutes from the hotel walking. We love Brugge and when we go back we will definitely stay here again!

A great hotel very close to the Markt. Think boutique rather than commercial, although with nice large rooms. Astonishingly excellent & friendly service - nothing was too much trouble. The only negative for me was wifi was a touch unreliable (& via a net login) but hey, I shouldn't be thinking about work!

Cons: parking cost and breakfast
Location: good location close to the market square
this hotel is very tired and needs a refurb.the breakfast is a joke at 22 euro's when you can go down the road and get service and a good brekfast for 12 euro.there was a dirty towel left in our room and every time we took a shower it flooded the bathroom.we would not got back.

BEAUTIFUL BRUGEPosted May 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
THIS IS A NICE HOTEL. UNFORTUNATELY, THE HOTEL SEEMS TO BE UNDERSTAFFED FOR THE SIZE AND STAFF SEEM TO BE IN A CONSTANT RUSH. AND DO NOT HAVE VERY MUCH TIME TO HELP GUESTS WITH THEIR QUERIES.

A perfect base from which to enjoy BrugesPosted Apr 18, 2013
This hotel is in a great position overlooking a canal, within a couple of minutes' walk of the central square, yet quiet and peaceful. The building is beautiful. It's tastefully decorated with antiques, but contains all modern amenities. The staff were very welcoming, happy to accommodate particular needs. It is not a large hotel but not a tiny one either, and there is a very personal feel to the service the staff offer. They gave us really useful information about places to eat out. Our suite was extremely comfortable and well equipped, everything worked. Parking, although not right within the hotel grounds (this is very difficult in Bruges), presented no problem at all. The hotel offered a buffet breakfast that we noticed had been criticised by other reviewers as over-priced and lacking variety. Either that reviewer was completely crazy, had unreasonably high standards, or the breakfast has improved immensely since that review was written, because the breakfast we enjoyed at the hotel was among the best of its sort I've ever experienced - numerous fruits, cereals, yogurts, meats, cheeses, breads (toasted or untoasted), croissants, pasteries, bacon, eggs, beans, sausages, smoked salmon, unlimited juices and coffee and even champagne were all on offer for a very reasonable price, and at half price for our children who ate as much as we did. In every respect, this was a lovely hotel and it really enhanced our enjoyment of our short family stay in the wonderful city of Bruges.

Room OK but a bit tiredPosted Mar 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel location was an easy walking distance to all of the main attractions. it is a number of buildings knocked together so be prepared for changes in floor levels and narrow winding stairs, not great if like us you have heavy suitcases. Room OK but a bit tired. Breakfaat not worth the money and service at breakfast time very poor, at one stage we had to knock on the kitchen door to get served with coffee

Overall the hotel was nice and in a great location however the room was small and dark and the water pressure in the bathroom terrible - the only way I could wash my hair was by filling the bath with a kettle.
