“Great location & concierge service”

The Montovani is an affordable, charming, and centrally located place to lodge while exploring Bruges. A speedy, eight-euro cab ride from the train station, the Montovani is a convenient ten-minute stroll from the Grote Markt, Bellfort, and dozens of other wonderful sights and distractions. The concierge, Vicki, couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful to an ungainly first-time visitor like myself. Following a nice breakfast spread on the Montovani's pleasant, sunlit patio, Vicki gave me detailed walking directions, a street map, and a book of coupons for the various museums. My actual room was secure and pretty spacious but by no means a luxury lodging, making it a great choice for budget travelers planning to spend most of their time out and about. Thumbs up for cleanliness though my mattress felt/sounded like it had been stuffed with wadded up paper and plastic bags; otherwise this place gets my wholehearted recommendation.
