Fabulous experience!Posted Nov 18, 2013
Pros: The staff, the ambiance, the location...can't say enough good things about it.
A group of us were touring in Europe with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus and chose to extend our stay by spending the weekend in Brugges. It was the perfect way to cap off a week that included stops in Germany, Paris, and Luxembourg.

A nice hotel but......Posted Nov 17, 2013
Pros: This is an Elegant hotel and has a good location
Cons: They should allow anybody to use the restaurant for breakfast - buffet/continental
Location: Ideal location in the city centre - surrounded by chocolate shops and restaurants plus of course all the sights - what a beautiful place Bruges is!
We have been to Bruges many times and as this was my wife's 60th birthday I thought I would find a hotel that was really special - so after a great deal of research I selected the Heritage. Now, imagine when we were told that if you only required a continental breakfast you couldn't have it in the beautiful traditional restaurant - you had to have it in the bar area! The beautiful breakfast room was reserved for the champagne breakfast only - priced at around 24 euros per person. I couldn't believe it - we have travelled the world and stayed in many hotels but never experienced this sort of problem - and so this spoiled the whole experience.

Luxury in a small packagePosted Nov 13, 2013
Cons: Lighting - give us the option to turn on one light instead of ALL lights.
Location: You can easily walk to most sights in Brugge from here. Carriage rides start in the Market one block away. Loads of shopping right out the door.
Hotel Heritage is in a great location. Just one block from the Market square. Many restaurants & cafes in the area. The room is luxuriously appointed, although very small. When you open the bathroom door it hits the bed. They offer an ipad tablet for your use and a very nice coffee maker in the room. The bed was super comfortable. Our biggest issue was the lights in the room. All connected to only one switch so it was either all lights on or all lights off. We could not turn off the chandelier and just have a room lamp on. I liked that we could open our window for some fresh air as I felt they kept their hotel too warm for our sleeping comfort. We did not try their restaurant - too limited in choices and too expensive for us. We managed to get this nice room at a good rate online, but otherwise our budget does not allow Relais & Chateau hotel stays.

Perfect central location and really helpful staffPosted Nov 9, 2013
If you are travelling by train get any bus into the town centre, it takes minutes and the hotel is 3 minutes from the square tucked away in a quiet road. Staff are really helpful and the rooms, although small are great. IPad and nespresso in every room, sumptuous pillows and everything lovely and clean. Mini bar If you want it although didn't use it myself. If you like good old English tea, I would take a travel kettle and tea bags. There is a supermarket very near by where you can get some milk. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed. ...

Visit to BruggePosted Oct 11, 2013
We were greeted at the door, welcomed and made comfortable from the start to the finish of our two night stay. The room was charming, the bath excellent. We would definitely make us comfortable in recommending the hotel to others - and staying there again.

Very pleasant hotel in a central locationPosted Sep 27, 2013
Pros: Very warm and genuine receptionists, hotel owner was at hand to help out when reception was busy.
Location: Just around the corner is the "Markt" with museums on that square. Undertook two very good walks on the recommendation of the receptionist
An easy to find hotel in a very central location, I walked from the train station, on a pleasant day with little luggage I would recommend it. If not a taxi would be reasonable option. I received a sincere and very warm welcome on arrival. Everyone I met was very friendly and professional. Rooms are very well presented and the facilities are good.

Lovely romantic hotelPosted Sep 10, 2013
Pros: the bed was the most comfortable bed we have stayed in.
Cons: the lack of working facilities: the sauna \ steam room wasn't working and none of the gym equipment had been maintained so didn't work
4 nights spent celebrating my partner's 50th. Wonderful hotel and very friendly staff. Didn't eat there as was a little expensive but the dinning rooms looked gorgeous.

Elegant hotel in quiet locationPosted Aug 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was beautiful, on a quiet street but very close to the Markt. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, responsive to any question or concern that was raised. Fruit basket on check-in was a nice touch. Room was clean and the hotel was well run. This is one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in in Europe, and despite being in a very popular city at a popular time of the year, the prices were quite reasonable. We'd welcome the chance to return.
