It is the best place to stay as it is close to all tourist sites. And the hotel also provides free shuttle bus services to the shopping malls. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My whole family enjoyed the stay there.

Best option in town at the moment

Clearly the hotels needs to be renovated and currently that's what they are doing. I stayed in a room that hasn't been renovated and was outdated, BUT I did prefer this hotel to the Rizqun because of the FREE WIFI. Also the cable TV had many channels which also made me very happy, since there isn't much to do in Brunei. Customer service was top notch.

Holiday Destination???
Posted Jan 5, 2012
Pros: Common areas and pool
Cons: Small bed
Location: See above
Requested a King bed at time of booking and was given a double with no comment. Room was about to be renovated as all floors above ours had been done. Smelled mildewy and curtains very hard to operate. Communal areas excellent and restuarant offered good value. All a bit far from what is probably called down town but then it is such a small country and every building seems to sit on it's own large block going from street to street that distances are considerable. Humidity seems to make distances longer for walkers too. Keep in mind Brunei's no alcahol policy and be aware that the country is one of the best I know of for non smokers.

Best you can get in Brunei
Posted Jan 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
The Radisson is probablly the best there is in Brunei. I checked out the Brunei Hotel while there are while it looks a little more updated, the restaurant left a lot to be desired. The Radisson is undergoing major renovations and by late 2012 it should be in much better condition. All in all a good stay. Very conveniently located and friendly staff.

Comfortable and good value.

Pros: Excellent breakfast and dinner buffets.
Cons: Ongoing improvement work.
Location: Walking distance to most attractions in Bandar Seri Begawan, though a hire car would be convenient for going further afield.
The hotel is undergoing an upgrade, though this is being done sensitively and did not cause much disruption. The Radisson is about 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Bandar Seri Begawan, and close to the Royal Regalia Museum. Also, the attractive Tasek Park is only a few minutes by foot from the hotel. My room was nicely arranged, with a separate sitting area screened from the bed, and loads of storage space. The breakfast buffet was very good, and the buffet dinner in Tasek Brasserie was particularly good value. As Brunei is a "dry" country, alcoholic drinks are not available, but there is a wide and imaginative selection of non-alcoholic cocktails, several of which I enjoyed sitting by the pool during the very hot afternoons. The hotel was excellent value, with many facilities that are often charged for, such as internet access and late checkout, being available at no additional cost. I would certainly stay here again should I return to Brunei.
