Swimming pool, Internet, bugsPosted May 11, 2015
the pool is not open, No wireless internet connection like advertised. bed bugs and lots of crawling insects inside the room. Cracks on walls and ceiling. I guess that's what you get for paying $65 a night.

Bad Experience - Would NOT Recommend!Posted May 9, 2015
Cons: Bigger trash cans, working ice machines, better breakfast
Location: Near I-95, lots of eateries to choose from
We looked at 5 different rooms to find one we thought might be decent. Later we found dirty socks under the bed after we had already settled in. Each room smelled. Cigarette ends everywhere. Trash was overflowing because the trash cans were too small. Other guests decided to throw their garbage around the trash can. There were 2 bugs in the bathtub when we woke up next morning. Breakfast did not look appetizing. Comforters were very dirty as was the carpet. Smokers hanging out around their rooms and buildings. Television was old and not a flat screen or updated. The surrounding parking was awful as well. Two of the three ice machines were not working so we had to search. Check-in staffer was nice and patient.

Dirty.Posted Apr 5, 2015
I wish I could attach pictures so you all could see. Other than the lobby, this place is dirty, with actual piles of trash in the stairways. The outdoor pool that was advertised was green and murky like a lagoon, and looked like a biohazard. I saw multiple broken down cars in their parking lot!

Not a hotel for familiesPosted Mar 16, 2015
Cons: Security, cleanliness -- inside and out!
Location: Not much available on this exit other than fast food. Oh, and a Starbucks!
The pictures advertising the hotel are very misleading. The rooms have exterior entrances - I should have checked on this, but didn't. Although the desk attendant was friendly and helpful, he lacked professionalism in that he openly announced my room number as I stood with at least 4 men around me - my husband and children were in the car. There was one man who was clearly intoxicated hanging around the front desk. As we went around the building to find our rooms, we saw sevceral questionable looking people loitering in the parking lot. Because of our room location, we were not able to park close. The parking area was secluded and poorly lit - there was an old car with a flat tire that had obviously been there a long time. There was feces on the stairs going up to our room. The building itself was very dirty - needed a serious pressure washing. Our expectations going into the room were very low. Overall it seemed clean, but towels were stained and carpet was dirty. We made the best of it and skipped the full breakfast. We won't be back!

Motel close to Rt 95.Posted Mar 15, 2015
Rugs filthy. Bathroom floor with dirt & hair pushed into corners. Bathroom sink plug broken so that it would not drain. Crumby looking people hanging around in parking lot when loading my car. We were at breakfast 1.5 hrs before it closed & hardly nothing left to pick from.

Bathroom needs remodelingPosted Mar 5, 2015
Pros: Convenient to restaurant and interstate
Cons: Remodeled bathroom
Location: See above
We were unable to operate the shower. There was no stopper for either the tub or the sink. The sink had large cracks in it. The breakfast was cold and coffee tasteless.

Dirty room, lock not working, no suppliesPosted Mar 5, 2015 on Hotels
The room deadbolt door would not lock. The phone in the room did not work, there were no hand towels, no soap, no tissues, the faucet and sink had not been cleaned, the bathroom had hair on the floor and the tub side had "stuff" on it. I spent the first hour dealing with maintenance replacing the phone and working on the door so I could put the dead bolt on. The breakfast area was OK and the bed was comfortable. The staff was pleasant but the hotel cleaning was HORRIBLE, not just in the room but the outside area, stairs, doors, hand rails. Simply awful and in need of a deep cleaning!!!

would not stay again.Posted Feb 24, 2015 on Hotels
Arrived after driving all day. Got into room and entire hotel inside and out smelled of cigarette smoke. Apparently a lot of transit living there. Room need a good scrubbing, all carpets replaced and furniture replaced. Breakfast consisted of juice, coffee, Luke warm eggs and toast. Enough to get us on the road but should skipped the breakfast and eaten of the road.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and efficient, and this location has close access to I-95. It was also a plus that they are pet friendly.
Cons: Cleanliness on the grounds and in the guest rooms could be greatly improved upon.
I was NOT pleased with my brief stay at Clarion Inn Brunswick. The staff was very friendly and efficient, and this location has close access to I-95. However, the outdoor corridors and grounds were trashy. There were bags of trash in the main courtyard in front of the pool, as well there was random trash, cans, bottles, and cigarette butts all over the grounds and in the corridors and parking lots. The room was probably the biggest disappointment. There was a VERY strong stale or old cigarette odor in the room, there was left over trash from the previous guest, the light in the bathroom was cracked, torn, and had holes in it. The ceiling in the bathroom was almost solid pink from the mold growing within. The carpets were stained and had a strong unpleasant odor. The sheets were clean, but the blankets and comforters had burn holes. There was no Flat Screen TV in the room, as promised, and the tube TV that was in the room had a horrible reception. While the proximity to I-95 was convenient, there was a lot of noise from the road. I feel that this facility should have some noise barrier or noise reduction within the rooms that border the highway.

Not a "3"Posted Jan 7, 2015
Cons: Old; outdated; not even all the letters of the sign were lit; "smoked free room" smelled of smoke & had to change; property littered.
Outdated; property littered; needs TLC: smoke free rooms smell like cigarettes
