Island Paradise

Pros: They were pet friendly..We travel with a Shi Tzu.
Cons:
Location: Jeckyll Island Georgia...Lots of good golf..Nice ocean near by..Great Food on the north end.
We only stayed the one night, but found the hotel to be exceptional. We needed a late check-out to allow us to play golf. The staff had no problem with that..

Therapy on the Island

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: nice and friendly
Cons: no improvements
Location: nature walks...bird watching. bicycling, historic homes and quiet beaches for morning thinking.
The hotel stay was very pleasant. Quiet and relaxing, very good beach environment The hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Unlike the congestion and traffic on other beaches. Most relaxing quaint stay for a vacation. No fireworks.....loud motorcycles and unbelievable traffic.

Location: Historic Millionaires Village, horse drawn carriages, putt putt, lovely golf course (feat in the movie Bagger Vance), not crowded, family friendly
Great location on Jekyll Island. Easy to walk out of the hotel, down the boardwalk, and on to the beach. Great pool area with poolside restaurant access. Can't beat the free continental breakfast. Will stay here again.

Excellent all arount. Only flaw was housekeeping not leaving enough towels on day 2. Beautiful spot to get away from it all. Great beach for miles and miles,

The hotel was very clean, and the pool area was clean and well stocked with towels. The room was clean and very spacious. Hotel personnel were all very friendly and anxious to please. Their recommendations for places to eat dinner were "right on" and we enjoyed very nice meals at reasonable prices. Jekyll Island is one of our favorite places, and the Hampton Inn is a great place to stay!

Quick Family Getaway

I'm a return customer to the hotel and, besides being a little expensive, am always satisfied with this Hampton Inn. It is located on the quiet south end of the island with little around it which makes it nice yet still close to everything. Two new hotels are in the process of being renovated/built so hopefully the price will be more competitive once these are finished.
