Came down for a fishing trip over the weekend and our stay was great. The room was clean and staff were friendly. The breakfast was good. We will come back again next year.

The proximity off I-95 was perfect, I was able to fill up my car with gas, pick up dinner and the hotel was right across the street. Upon leaving it was less than 1 minute to I-95

Worst Hampton inn I’ve ever stayed at
The place was so dirty. The pool was nasty. Our room after being changed for the 2nd time still smelled like cat urine and had pubic hairs all in the bathroom! I found a nest of spiders up in the corner of the room with baby spiders! Then at breakfast, the lady attending wouldn’t let anyone touch the breakfast items- said, “sir don’t touch anything- I will get it for you”. Never have seen this at any Hampton inn ever. It was so she would get tips as it was abundantly clear that’s why there was a tip drop on the table that blocked the area.

It has been a few years since we have been here... it has gone down, way down. We will not stay here again. Upon arriving at this motel you pull in next to a building that is out of business and it had been decorated with spray paintings of something that made you wonder if there was gangs in the area. The bed was comfy and clean... the rest of the place was not. We were here only one night thankfully. Hampton Inn needs to remove their name from this place as it is not what you expect when staying at a Hampton Inn. There was three of us. We were only allowed two towels and two wash clothes... really? Which one of us did they not want to shower? The tub had been poorly painted, there was paint spots where the paint had peeled off and other areas where it was not smooth but prickly giving the feel of standing on pins or nails. While the water felt good the shower was anything but relaxing, it was a hurry up and get your feet off the painful tub floor. Speaking of floors... I took a wet wipe and wiped the bathroom floor. That floor was nasty as in I don't know when was the last time they were cleaned. The hallway had a smell that was a cross between cat pee and raw sewer. When we checked in we were told what time the hot breakfast started. Upon arriving for the hot breakfast we found coffee, granola bar and oranges. Not what I would call a hot breakfast. The door at the end of the motel had been forgotten about as spiders have moved in to feast on the dead bugs there I guess.

Very Disappointed
The Hotel room smelled very old and molded, the shower did not drain while taking a shower. Could not sleep from the smell. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We have always like Hampton Inns but this seems downgraded from our previous experiences at this chain. It was comparable to a Best Western, The wall under the sink in the bathroom was dirty. It was shoddily remodled

It is in the middle of renovations which are needed. It was perfectly located because we wanted to go to dinner at Skippers. We would stop again in hopes of a fresh renovation.

The place is a dump, needs complete renovation. They had stickers on the doors saying the rooms were clean but the place is falling apart. Black mold around the bathtub. I could not wait to leave.

We had problems checking in. They wanted us to pay again. We tried to explain that we already paid. She said we just paid Expedia’s fee and now we have to pay them. I asked to speak to her boss but she said he wasn’t on the premises. Also she was not wearing a mask. We called Expedia and they tried to call her, but she wouldn’t answer the phone. I had to go back inside and give her my phone to talk to Expedia. It didn’t work. So he transferred me to a person that could find us a nearby motel. The one who answered tried to call her but she wouldn’t answer the phone again. Again, I had to bring her the phone, or Expedia wouldn’t give us a refund. Expedia spoke to her and then paid her. It took us over an hour to get a key to a room. Also the room had no microwave. We had to bring our food to the lobby to use a public microwave.

I wa unable to get a printed receipt of my bill. Clerk said this was because I booked thru third party. But I stayed in a different Hampton Inn the previous evening and the clerk was happy to supply a receipt. Frustrating that policies are inconsistent.
