Great hotel, close to the beach, friendly staffPosted Nov 18, 2013
Cons: personal preference - but I like a little softer mattress.
The room was spacious, larger than envisioned. One of the newest properties on St Simon. Kitchen with full size fridge and cook top and dishwasher was furnished with necessary utensils, plates, etc.. We arrived a day early and the property manager greeted us in the office. He was very accommodating - very friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again. A couple good restaurants in the area.

Beach InnPosted Oct 30, 2013
Location: Have to try Palmers for breakfast and Southern Soul is nothing less than awesome!!!!
Great place to stay. Will definitely be back. Feels more like a condo than a motel room.

Fun weekend awayPosted Oct 29, 2013
We had two couples down for a wedding weekend and had a great time staying at the sea gate inn. Being Relatively close to everything made fir an awesome time and the room was very nice and comfortable.

Sea Gate Inn-108 10/5-6/13Posted Oct 8, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness, quietness, cozy rooms, and very up-to-date decor.
Cons: Giving a guest an ocean view room when reserving a room and not giving them a partial ocean view room at check-in.
Location: Locations was great, and the seafood restaurant that I had reservations was only about 20 seconds away! Only the food was not as great though.
I really enjoyed my stay at Sea Gate Inn on Saint Simons Island, GA!!! I will most definitely stay again very soon! The only negative was that I was told I would have an ocean view room, but received a partial. Other than that, my stay was great! The Inn was very peaceful, cozy, and extremely relaxing! I would recommend this Inn to ANYONE!

Perfect!! A+++++Posted Sep 23, 2013
When we arrived the staff was amazing! They gave us a complimentary early check in, and then late check out. Our room was beautiful!! We had an amazing view from our balcony... the room was super cute!! The beds were absolutely comfortable. Everything was brand new, and very fitting for us. We would most definitely recommend this resort to someone.... :) Very happy travelers!!

We very much enjoyed our stay and loved the decor of the hotel and it was convenient and within walking distance to most everything. We enjoyed the covered parking in the hot Georgia sunshine. The only real two inconveniences were that we had no direct access to the beach during high tide which I know is not in your control and check out time was much too early at 10:00 AM. We would select this again but request a later checkout time.

Cozy for a family or just time with your loved onePosted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was very impressed, walking distance to great resturants and beachie shops with a view of the ocean from my patio. Clean rooms, with my bed made up and fresh towles everyday.

Condo near the beachPosted Jul 27, 2013
Pros: Location. Thirty minutes from seminar location on Jekyll Island. Brunswick is ten minutes away. Plenty of entertainment on the island.
Cons: I wish the room had a stove. But otherwise, everything was excellent.
Location: Old town is down the street and full or restaurants and such. State park with sandy beach is less than a mile away. Jekyll Island is thirty minutes.
Excellent facility. On St. Simmons across the road from the beach. Covered parking. Excellent staff kept the place clean. Wi-Fi, location, everything was excellent. The only draw back is the kitchen does not have an oven. It has all other appliances including full size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, two burner stove top. But I missed the oven. Public access to the beach is about 100 yards from the condos. At this point on the coast the beach has suffered erosion and is only available during low tide. A nice state park with sandy beach is less than a mile away but an easy walk. The "town" is just down the street. Grocery store on the island is a short drive. Living room is nice with a balcony that overlooked the ocean in this room. Other rooms may not have a similar view. The bedroom has two queen size beds. The living room sofa could accommodate a child if needed. Furnishings are excellent. Plenty of towels and staff kept them fresh each day. There is a walk-in shower and a jet tub. Closet space is small. I was here for a four day seminar and the condo was everything I had hoped for. The only negative is the lack of a stove.
