“A wonderful honeymoon”

The hotel staff was so nice and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was excellant and fresh. The hotel was so clean and neat. The pool was clean and the hot tub was wonderful!!!! Thank you so much and we can't wait to take the family back again.

“Nice Surprise”

We had never stayed there before, we were very pleased with everything. We had booked a room with a king sized bed through Expedia. When we checked-in, we were upgraded to a suite with a king. We called the front desk to check on it, and they said they had run out of king rooms, so they upgraded us. Since we were staying two night, we especially appreciated all the extra room.

Very nice place, reasonably priced, good location for us. Nothing luxurious, but nice. The only complaint is that the pillows were bad - just flat little slabs. If we ever go back, we will bring our own.

Hotel at end of dead end street. Surrounded by subtropical trees and shrubs. Rear yard with inground pool, gazebo and spa. Would be a great spot for a wedding reception. Not a typical Best Western. Definitely my favorite on St. Simons Island.

“A fine off the beach hotel”

If being on the beach is not a priority this is a great quiet clean hotel with a nice pool and grounds. Ideal for family stays.

“Repeat Stay”

We have bought a condo on the island, but are having some work down on it before move-in, necessitating a week's plus stay at a hotel.We had stayed at the BW before, and while it is an older hotel it is very clean and comfortable and all staff is very friendly and helpful. It also has an absolutely lovely pool area and we really, really enjoyed the absence of a blaring TV in the bright and comfortable breakfast room. The location was very convenient for us being so close to the causeway, as we had to go to the mainland a lot, but it's close to the village, beach etc. so maybe not a great location when vacationing.

“Great inexpensive place to stay”

Clean, comfortable--the most beautiful setting and hotel of this category I've experienced. One negative is that there are no laundry facilities on site--but there is one a couple of blocks away. Nice simple breakfast set up. Weather is good in October--weather and humidity are bearable. Wear deet to keep the biting bugs away.
