Staff accommodated my family being I was their staying for my birthday to be closer to them with all the festivities we were going to. Instead of having to drive way back cross town for them to get home they were able to get rooms near mine and we all had a great time!!!

Hotel.comShocker
The Paragon Hotel beware of the 150.00 security deposit they are requiring in cash to stay there. What a shocker at 10PM arriving tired from all day driving. Hotel.com is not aware of this rule they have, and they will simply tell you to go elsewhere. We used to stay there when it was Jameson Inn. Years ago it was a nice place not now, The TV remote was taped together with scotch tape to hold batteries in , and reception was snowy . Only coffee in the morning and not a good one either. That is our last stay there. Find another place this is not good.

Upon arrival we were told that despite the fact we had reserved, paid for and received our itinerary and reservation confirmation, the hotel was completely booked and our room was reserved erroneously. We were told we would have to seek a refund from our booking agent. I can’t afford to wait 3-7 business days for my money to be out back on my card - we wouldn’t have been able to afford to pay for another room somewhere else. However, I called our booking agent, hotels.com, and they were able to find us another room at a better hotel, and used the money we had already paid. Did not cost one penny more, and we loved our new hotel!

The check in and check out was good. Very nice staff. And bed was comfortable. -However, upon arriving to the room, there was a weird smell like cigar or something in a nonsmoking room. -floor needs to be mopped. - one of Bed pillows had a hair on it. & i put it on other side of the bed. -Complimentary shampoo/bodywash stuff had nasty stuff on it. Couldnt make out what it was. -No trash can in room. -Shower didnt drain properly and saw stuff floating in the water. -one of towels was stained and had tiny pieces of hair tangled inside the towel. -Tub slightly leaked in the corner onto the floor (yes I made it aware to the desk clerk at check out) I am happy with how convenient it was with the location. But I will not be staying at this hotel anymore. Its not worth wasting my money there.

The price was the least for the weekend visited. The property had seen better days and the room seemed one they didn’t maintenance much as one they would give to a third- party booking service. There was a lot of dust behind the tv which with the dim lighting and the nightstand with the security safe atop blocking the connecting room door that wouldn’t lock. Lots of pillows though and the bed looked clean.

The hotel was renovating many rooms in the section where we stayed. Our room had not been renovated . The room had a tub/shower that didn’t drain well. The air vent above the shower had fallen off in the tub. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast fair. Walk to restaurant across from hotel. No other rooms were available in the area so we stayed.

Check-in was slow as they couldn't find my reservation. Clerk had to check another System once they found out it was Expedia (never heard of this before). Despite walking past at least 6 King Bed empty rooms on the ground level, we were put in the Last room on the 2nd floor, furthest from the Lobby. Lobby is closed 10pm-7am and no Breakfast served unti 7am, so not good for early travellers. No USB Ports or Coffee Maker in the room. Hallway carpets leading to the room looked like they hadnt been vacuumed in days. We're not sure what was on the Laminate Flooring in the room but it was greasy and actually very slippery in our shoes or socks and left a black coating on the bottoms of our bare feet. Lots of other 3-Start Motel options in the area, so we would not choose this one again

Average Budget Friendly Stay
The place was clean overall for the price point. The staff were friendly and overall helpful. However, we had a three night stay and our room card was deactivated each day. That was a huge inconvenience and imagine not being properly dressed assuming you can reenter your room and you have to take a trip to the lobby. The room contained only a single roll of tissue. There was no backup so be prepared to take a trip to the lobby for an additional roll.

Disgusting. There was a roach in the desk. I told the front desk and they said “oh they just sprayed, that’s why it probably came out”…… ummmmm GROSS! They also had a sign saying free breakfast. That was part of the reason I picked this one.

DISGUSTING! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
Where do I start? This was absolutely the WORST place I've ever stayed. The pool was out of order. Waited 2 hours for our room to be "cleaned". Once entered, we were choking on the smell of bleach that filled the toilet. The floor was dirty and pubic hair in the bathroom. There were no towels, no toiletries like soap or shampoo. The sheets were dirty and stained. I don't know how they are still open. We asked 3 times for towels, just to be ignored. The next morning, after we asked once again, we were brought bath mats! They are also operating the elevator with an EXPIRED permit. When trying to talk to someone at the front desk, I only received a response of "Have A Nice Day". I tried calling a manager/owner with no response. No response out of hotels.com either after several attempts. Not worth any amount of money. If my car wasn't packed, it would've been a better place to sleep. Please, just don't make a mistake of staying here.

A Disastrous Experience
This was close to the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel – – and that is saying something! Granted, there were unusual circumstances, but I had to wait 2-1/2 hours for my room (since The first room they gave me was out of order), and it wasn’t even cleaned when I finally got in there. Truly a disastrous experience!

Don't go here it's horrible and gross
I booked a room today and I had to leave early because we had such an awful experience. We were in the room for less than an hour and decided we could not stay any longer. The keys won't work at all no matter how many times they were reset. The room was falling apart a piece of the ceiling fell on my husband. The pool was freaking green. I would just like my money back. This was an extreme waste of time and an awful experience.

Jameson called us at 11:30 on July 3rd, the day we were supposed to check in, to inform us that they werent honoring our reservation because they "were logged out of expedia for 2 days and they just kept renting rooms". I tried explaining that this is the 4th of July weekend and they couldnt do this, its their responsibility and the rude manager hung up on me. Will NEVER use Expedia again, and certainly would never stay at Jameson Inn

I made my reservation on line 30 + hours the day before my arrival. Two hours before my arrival, my wife called to let the desk know that we were running late due to traffic congestions. The desk clerk told my wife that he had no reservation for us. She told him that we had a confirmation number and he hung up on her. She called again and talked to another female clerk, wo said our credit card had been refused, so our reservation was canceled. She did then say we could make another reservation using another card, but the new reservation would be an additional $20.00.. We accepted the offer because at that time of day on a holiday weekend it would have bee very hard to find another hotel room. Upon arrival the desk clerk heard our story and let us have a room for the original agreed on price. "This is a third rate hotel at best"

Room was not ready when we arrived at 4:00pm, room was not properly cleaned or stocked. Hair on floor, finger nail file in commode, only one towel and washcloth, no bathmat, no desk chair. This was not an absolutely horrible hotel to stay at but they definitely need to work on room cleanliness and accommodations for guests.

This hotel was not a desirable place to stay. In the room, there were extension cords for the electronics to work all over the place. There were couples outside the hotel fighting. While I was there the cops were called for 2 different instances. It was not a comfortable place to reside during my trip. WIll never stay there again.
