Spacious room, great staff, great value.Posted Nov 15, 2013
Pros: Great value.
Cons: We would have opted for a pet-free hotel, but didn't think to ask first.
Location: Easy freeway access (no traffic noise in our room). Jekyll Island is a scenic 1/2 hr drive away and good restaurants in Brunswick are 15 mins away.
The staff was very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and driving directions. Our room was spacious and generally quiet, though having only one chair made it difficult when the two of us wanted to sit and write. A guest in a nearby room had two dogs that woke us during the night with their barking. The shower was a bit weak and the breakfast was ho hum. The location was good - right off the freeway with a Waffle House and a Winn Dixie conveniently nearby.

Nice and comfortablePosted Nov 10, 2013
We had a pleasant stay and would definitely stay again. Big plus that Cracker Barrel is next door and could walk over rather than having to drive for evening meal.

What a surprise !!Posted Sep 6, 2013
Pros: Clean and close to interstate
Location: Directly behind Cracker Barrel. We walked to breakfast. That was nice because my wife loves their french toast.
We had tried to book a room on Jekyll Island over the Labor day weekend. Everything was booked or had 2 night minimums. We love the beach at Jekyll. Someone suggested we stay in Brunswick and drive over to the beach. Got a room at LaQuinta right off the interstate. When we pulled in, we found it was in a great location. The check staff was so friendly. She was one of those "bubbly type A personalitys". Our room was very clean and the air was just right. The price was $200 lower than our hotel we tried to book on Jekyll. I can pay a little gas to drive to the beach. We will stay at the same LaQuinta next time we visit Jekyll. We found a little jewel....Thanks LaQuinta.

Stop over on the trip to FloridaPosted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: The hotel was quiet and clean.
Cons: The included breakfast area could be better maintained. Garbage can was overflowing and orange juice dispenser was providing orange colored water.
Location: Many restaurants were within walking distance.
Hotel is located in a park like setting. It is not far from many restaurants, gas stations and grocery store. Interstate 95 was only a couple of minutes away. The king size bed was comfortable.

Good stop on the way home from doctors visit in SCPosted Aug 16, 2013
The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. I used to travel every week on the job and stayed at every brand of hotels. My wife and I to prefer the La Quinta on our pleasure trips now instead of business trips.

It's okay...Posted Jul 10, 2013
Pros: Staff is very nice
Cons: Pet smell.
Location: Beach is close enough and nice places to eat.
It's good for the price but not if u r looking for a nice place to stay. Too many people with their pets and I'm not much of a dog person so, I didn't enjoy the smell. I paid the same amount last year for a hotel room in savannah but it was much better.

I took my wife to Brunswick, Ga for our 5 year anniversary and we stayed at this motelfor the weekend. The AC in our room would not blow cold air out so we contacted the front desk and requested a fan. After an hour the lady at the front desk called back and advised us that they didn't have a fan. She then told us that a maintenance man would fix the ac but no one ever showed up the whole weekend. As we checked out on Sunday we told the gentleman at the desk about the incident and he did apologize to us . I would not stay here again in the future.
