The whole experience was pretty good. The only thing was that the room was small. We do not stay in the room very much so it was not a problem for us.

“The perfect place to get away from the stress”

My husband and I wanted a beach getwawy within a few hours of Atlanta and we could not have found a better place. If you're looking for a fancy hotel (motel), this is not it. But it was exactly what we were looking for: a place on the beach which was clean, pleasant, with a great pool and where we could spend some alone time. The Oceanside Inn and Suite staff was outstanding, so welcoming and sincerely pleasant. The beds were terrific and the airconditioner worked like a dream! Even though there were almost no empty rooms in this large complex, we were able to really enjoy our time in the sun at the pool, even though there were probably 50 other guests with us. The restaurant on site was a pretty good sports bar. The shrimp was terrific! A short 15 minute drive to Brunswick and a few more to St. Simons, the sea turtles at the beach, cool little shops on the island and a lot of history, too. All in all, the most relaxing and enjoyable weekend we have spent in years.

“Best Beach Locale for your Bucks”

The beach was beautiful and uncrowded when we visited. The view from the beach side of the hotel was spectacular. The beds were extremely comfortable and the A/C worked wonderfully--much better than I have experienced in more expensive hotels. The only drawback was the lack of elevators to help transport luggage to the second level. We will definately visit again!

The hotel was very nice. The staf was nice and helpful. They did everything to help in any way. The location was perfect to watch the sunrise over the water. I plan to return as soon as possible. I'd recommend this hotel. It could use a little work in the bathrooms but overall it was great. God bless!

We have been to Jekyll a few time and this was our first time staying here. We were upgraded upon arrival and had a beautiful ocean view room, the staff was prompt and very friendly upon check in. The beach is just feet from your door and the pool area is close also. The restaurant on premises was surprisingly great, we had seafood and expected Red Lobster quality and got so much more, it was fresh and perfectly seasoned and servers there were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again, we had no idea what we had been missing!

Excellent location on the beach. This time of year there weren't any crowds. My wife and I had a great time. Weather was perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful. Internet connection was great. Restaurant on site was great with lots of big TV's. Took lots of great pictures with great backgrounds of the trees and ocean.
