“Great place to stay in Jekyll”

We went to Jekyll Island for a conference and stayed at Quality Inn And Suites. It was a huge change from the place we stayed at last year. This place has a small kitchen area with table and chairs, full size fridge, microwave, stove, sink and comes complete with silverware, plates, cups, mugs, dishwashing detergent, pots and pans. They didn't leave anything out. The beds were comfortable and clean. The room was and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was included in the price and they had several things to choose from. The people that worked there were nice and helpful. The only con I had was that there was no tv in the bedroom. There was a door that separated the bedroom from the living room area. I am booking now for next year!

Super great Breakfast. They were very good to take care of their guest in any way. Some maintenance issues that the were very good about taking care of and more than good about compansating.

Very nice clean hotel with a great breakfast which is included with your room. WOW! Waffles, yogurt, things you do not get with some hotels. Will visit again.

“An end of an era”

Jekyll Island and the hotels there now are at risk of being overwhelmed by big developers who are planning overblown "luxury resorts" on this previously protected natural environment. The Quality Inn is a simple, but perfectly wonderful and economical way to stay on the island. I'll miss the quiet, "everyman" ambience I've been enjoying for almost 20 years of long weekend vacations there. As usual, I was given a complimentary upgrade at the hotel without even asking. Hot waffles and other treats for breakfast are complimentary as well. Don't miss the Georgia Sea Turtle Center!

“Nice Stay”

The breakfast is great and the accommodations were exactly as described. I would definitely stay here again. A few cosmetic repairs needed in the room but nothing major.

Love this hotel. It is not shiny brand new. But is a great deal! Small kitchen, able to cook meals. Ask to stay in one the "back" rooms. Perfect. Loved it. Will go back many, many times!!!

“Quality in is great, but a bit pricey...”

I made my reservation the night before my arrival, and they had plenty of room. Once I got there, I was greeted with a cheerful manager, shown directly to my room which was more of a suite--with seperate living room, bedroom, and kitchen with a decent sized refridgerator and microwave. The room was decently cleaned, but I'm always a bit leery of hotel cleanliness anyway. I thought the mattresses were phenominal for a hotel. The building is very old, so things are getting more run down... the air conditioning was ancient, and the fridge was pretty old, too(even though it worked well). The couch was damp when I got there, but it didn't smell weird or anything... In addition, I brought my dog with me, and they welcomed him! I stayed in a room across from a nice little field so that I could walk him. There were other people there who had dogs, and I heard them every once in a while, but it wasn't anything that was really bothersome. Also, the hotel was VERY quiet at night... I got plenty of rest. I thought my rates were a bit high considering the age of the place, but it was a holiday weekend, I did have a great room, they serve a decent breakfast, and it was across the street from the beach. If I DO end up going to Jekyll again, I'll try to stay there.
