pool was closed , check in staff was inattentivePosted Sep 23, 2013
Pros: the morning staff was a lot better they were quick to refill breakfast items despite a family clearing the shelves prior to us
Cons: pool and upfront information on any issues (also if more then 1 adult is staying in a room you should get 2 keys since the hall ways have locked doors
Location: was near I95 so you can get to things fast
walked in and desk clerk was on the phone (no problem but didnt even look up at me or give me a nod). Then once here call was over 1-2 minutes later she proceeded to check me in. Upon seeing the location of my room on the map I said oh cool facing the pool so we have easy access the wife and kids will like that. She didnt really reply just handed me my room key and went about her business. here are my problems 1st there is no sliding glass door (looks like there is but it is sealed shut). 2nd pool is chained shut (would have been nice to know when I was mentioning it). 3rd even if the pool was open it was tiny (not sure how they made it look so big in the picture but you could practically jump in and hit the other side 4th the ac is a small wall unit poor at cooling the room and it points right at 1 of the beds so if you sleep next to it you are cold while the other bed is sweating. 5th there was a hair on the white sheets to long to be mine and to dark for my kids or wife 6th TV guide/pamphlet were stuck together from previous guest spilling something on it 7th beds were soft / ate me and my wife (she is around 140 and I am 200) we were on separate beds as my son (3) slept with me and daughter (5) with her. 8th not that I watched the tv much but it was an old school tube TV (who really uses/has those anymore) In the future I think I will go to the Days in that was across the street looked like a much nicer hotel and their pool was actually open

Nice for one night stayPosted Sep 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
it really surprised me that this room did not have any kind of smell ( some hotel rooms smell like moldy or humid), was a very nice size room, bed linens where a bit old, and bathroom needs some renovation. Friendly staff.

just ok for the pricePosted Aug 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Breakfast was not up to par, even by the standards of low-cost hotels. Having a working waffle iron would have improved it slightly. Not bad if looking for a cheap one-night stay. Staff is very friendly.

Do not stay here!!!Posted Aug 9, 2013
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: Let me count the ways!!!
Location: Lots of better motels right next door which we will use next time!
Staff nice but room was below par. Needs serious upgrading. No remote for Tv and when we got one the volume. Didn't work. Had to wait for another. No clock. No toiletries. 7 out of 10 chairs at pool were broken. Pool lights broken. Under water lights sitting on side of pool. Dirty wet socks and trash deck. Trash along sidewalks. Doors to pool area locked. Had to go outside to get to office area and breakfast. "Deluxe Breakfast" was cold cereal and a waffle maker. So disappointed to have spent good money for this place.

I mean, u get what u pay for...Posted Aug 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
I hate reading hotel reviews where people are unecessarily rude & over exaggerate the "horrible-ness" of their stay, so I will be as straightforward as possible for the experience of 5 normal Americans.... No this isnt the Hilton, but its a decent hotel, almost as good as staying at home, and fit most of my family's needs for the 2 nights we were there. The only complaints i have are: 1) ironing board, no iron, 2) not enough outlets (lets be honest, 3 kids & 2 adults = lots of tablet & phone chargers lol), & 3) apparently they dont check the microwave when cleaning because there was a 10 yr old box of Popeye's chicken that grew legs & ran out of the room soon as i opened the microwave door....other than that tragedy, beds and room itself were clean, clean linens, clean bathroom, clean pool, clean hotel, and best of all NO BUGS! All appliances (except iron of course) worked properly. We loved the private balcony overlooking the pool, & the children enjoyed the pool itself. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely stay there again!!
